I agree There's a pretty bad thunderstorm going on atm and it's eerie how much it looks like a hurricane. Sideways rain, trees blowing like crazy, but not that much thunder or lightning...yesterday was like the calm before the storm, today is the storm before the disaster. Oh, and funny story, while we were getting gas this morning, some prick decided to slash our f*cking tire while we were inside paying. No security footage, no one saw who it was, but now we have a flat and no one is open to get another tire. We're going to put the older spare on when I get home from work but still...f*ck...these things have a way of bringing out the best in some and the absolute worst in most. Here you can see alabama and the regions of the state that have the highest probability of being impacted by the storm. The southern coast shouldn't be affected but the rest will have a lot of rain and could even have tropical storm winds. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always. Jose has 1-minute sustained wind speeds of 155mph, two mph below a Cat. 5, and is barreling towards the same islands annihilated by Irma less than a week ago - Sint Maarten/Saint Martin, Barbuda, St. Barts and Anguilla.
