He's #1 in album midweeks while Girls Aloud are #4, and on track for a 2nd week with #1 single. Probably because he's gorgeous, talented, cheeky, a complete babe, funny, and generally quite lovely. Or erm... *cough*... something like that... ahem... :shy: But on a serious note get inside me Olly But on a more serious note I actually like that song! :)
StrawberryBlond 14,263
Since when is Olly Murs such a big deal in UK? He's #1 in album midweeks while Girls Aloud are #4, and on track for a 2nd week with #1 single. He's been a big deal for quite a while. By far one of the most successful runner-ups, along with JLS. If he gets another #1, he'll be on par with their success. As far as #1's go, JLS are the most successful X Factor act ever, with 5. To think, all those years ago, that Simon had taken a big risk by putting Olly through to the live shows. Just goes to show I have no idea about the public's music tastes at times. As successful as he is, I never expected him to be ahead of Girls Aloud in the albums (mind you, GA have only ever had one #1 album and greatest hits tend to not do as well). Is Troublemaker really going to #1 again this week? It was looking as if Bruno might get it (though I have no idea about the sales, just the chart positions). And Troublemaker is actually pretty good.

Ozzy8923 9
Y'all are still on the same page from 3 days ago. Question: Was Scream & Shout released in the UK? I noticed it's the only major market, along with Germany, where Scream & Shout is not charting on iTunes.

Ellie Sioux 8
I really want Plan B to get places with 'Playing With Fire'. iLL Manors is far less radio friendly than his last album, but Playing With Fire is one of the tracks I can actually see charting quite decently. His album really blew me away though, and this song is one of my favourites from it. Labyrinth's vocals fit perfectly, but the rapping part is what will cause it to struggle (eventhough that bit is still flawless ) I actually can't stress enough how much I love Plan B. He is such a f*cking great artist.
StrawberryBlond 14,263
Is Bruno going to get this #1? I'm hoping that Beneath Your Beautiful and The Power Of Love will skyrocket tonight after the XF performances and blow away any chance he has with that godawful song. Sometimes I really wish we had an urban music comeback, so songs like this could get noticed again. Right now, everyone's knee-deep in cheesy songs because Christmas is coming, though, so it won't have much chance. This generation can make good music, it's just buried until all the superficial top 40 veneer.

If the radios gave this song a chance it could do amazingly, but with the festive season approaching I'm pretty sure they wouldn't look twice at this song, it's not the most cheerful But then again, Someone Like You was a Spring hit
craig 680
http://www.officialc...m/albums-chart/ Of 9 new releases charting top 26, Neil Diamond's Best Of is the surprise #2 nipping Girls Aloud GH.
