TMP 87
The first guy really did not deserve her hate. He was very clear about his preferences, which is fine, just the fact that he's a little unaware of transpeople being heterosexual (or whatever-sexual) also. The others... let them burn. ItsTommyBitch 12,640
8 minutes ago, Goosey said: Well, as a straight guy, it's my preference to date the female sex. Not to be rude, but frankly, I don't care if my preferences 'invalidate' someone else. It's not my problem if my sexual orientation offends them. Well, what is the female sex to you? Some "females" with secondary sex characteristics have penises, and some have non functioning genitalia totally" So what does it for you? Is it a vagina? Or XX chromosomes? Or breasts, less wide shoulders/arm span, hips, softer facial features? It's clear that being attracted to purely "XX" chromosomes is arbitrary, and not something you can see... since some men you would recognize as men on the street could have XX chromosomes, be transgender, or otherwise. Gender and Sex are really complicated, nebulous concepts at heart, even if most of us still see them as binary. Honestly, you didnt have to quote me to say this though People act like saying "You're transphobic! racist! sexist! homophobic! etc" is other people saying "You are evil and deserve to die" when its not. You don't have to date trans women as a straight man, but trans women are women, so just go ahead and say what you do and don't like here; just don't predicate it on your "straight" ness, as we've already shown its irrelevant. It is not transphobic to not be generally attracted to trans people. It is the reasons you are not attracted to trans people that might make you transphobic. But truth time. Like you said, you don't have to care if your so called preference invalidates another person's truth. While we're at it, none of you have to not be transphobic. Yes, its bad to be these things, don't get me wrong, but the vast majority of the human race is some of these things. Not being transphobic is the minority position. We all have the freedom to choose who we date and have sex with, associate with even. You don't have to change it. In fact, it's not my or anyone else's job to force that change on people; only be an advocate. I can demonstrate the harm such a position causes and present people with factual information and better yet, perspective. Afterall, it is unwise to hold strongly a position you have no reason to believe to be right in the first place; informed positions will always be more "right" than assumed, uninformed positions. What you do after you have that knowledge is up to you. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
JustaMonster 4,909
Why do people care who other people f*ck so much? No one is obligated to have to f*ck anyone else. Hands up to the sky, I'm about to fly!
Rolu 40
After reading this thread I'm really amazed at some of these responses. YOU'RE NOT ENTITLED TO SEX OR A DATE! People have preferences. Some people don't want to date obese people, others don't want to date blonds. The same applies to genitals. Because of the fact that the majority of humans are cis, the expectation is that men have a penis and women have a vagina. If this is not the case, for example because of an accident, illness or transgenderism, you can not expect everyone to date you anyway. There are people that don't care about genitals. But the majority does. Sure, there are operations to change these genitals, but that does not change the fact that there are people who do not want to sleep with you because of that. You can call them transphobic or whatever you want to, but you're still not entitled to sex or a date.
Chic 20,830
I haven't been single in years thankfully. I'd hate to be in the dating scene when there's people like this around. I wouldn't have liked it, but that would have been my problem, not theirs, lol. Those people are allowed to have their preferences. When I was single it sucked though. It's difficult to come to terms with it when you're on the receiving end of rejection as a trans person because it's not about your looks or your character or compatability. Everything could be fine in a relationship except for the details of one's birth. And because it's a sensitive topic to some people, it can really strike a nerve. That's why I'm so lucky to have my man, why it means so much more than a typical relationship imo. Because we overcame prior hangups and found a way to embrace the perceived imperfections. I'd hate so much to be without him. I know how it feels. I could only ever have been with a cis man. Which is why it used to sting so much.

SMILE2NE1 3,566
It's a dating app hun, people are there to hook up. If they don't find you attractive and a match, just move on. Him not wanting to bang you or date you is not him being transphobic, its a preference.
DISZKO 800
Baloney!!! Enforcing your views on others is Fascism, no matter the condition. Get a grip people. World is huge, not everyone will like you, it's part of the game. Grow a skin and sort yourself out. Anyone jumping "transphobic" immedietaly is delusional and doesn't think for themselves about situations like this and scared to go against these new waves of "equality". Have your own honest opinion and not a media infused semi thought. Posting pictures of transman and transwoman then again comes up as childish and confusing. There is always a right way to present yourself whatever you feel like and there is always an acceptable respone to it, no matter the outcome.
