Was this always your plan, to have Charles be "A," or has it evolved as the show has gone on over the last first years? I started dropped references in some of my earlier episodes, like if you go back to season three where the girls see the mime and the mime's name is Charlemagne, which is the root name for Charles. So we've been dropping little nuggets along the way. And those anagrams that came out a couple episodes ago—it means a lot of different things, but one of the six or seven things it means is Charles DiLaurentis. I want to say that I had this idea in the back of my mind and I played with it for a couple of months before I pitched it to the room, sort of saying, ‘Is this going to work?' And I didn't get one negative reaction. But we did not tell the studio or the network until not too long ago. [Laughs.] Is this Marlene ****ing serious? I liked the episode but honestly they should've given more answers. And also who the hell was Red Coat/Black Widow? That was definitely a girl. Bring on season 6 tbh. Pure Adrenaline 1,518 Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 the show is fcking mess the little hope I had left for this finale was destroyed, faster than the ARTPOP era after Troy left First of all in the Halloween episode, this Marlene was asked specially about Mona's death and she confirmed that Mona was death forreal this time like she wont be coming back rather than in some of the girls' dreams etc. and now u brought fcking Mona back .... r u fcking kiddin me The Big A reveal was that ......................................... that ................................................................... he was some unknown to us character that suddenly they decided to introduce .... like who fcking cares for this Charles .................... no ONE NOOOOOOOOOOOO ONE, what is his story why the heck he hates the girls like now u need to bulit a whole new origin for him when u spend 5 seasons wondering who he is. And how hard would have been to give us a face, it's not like people knew about this Charles before. it;s just .... just stupid the show lost it all .... I've been saying that the show is **** after for the last 3 seasons and it's just dragging it for too damn long I'm just pissed at the time I wasted for this .... 5 seosons went to hell, like where is the character construction of A .... so far after 5 seaons what we know about him, he just hates the liars like I would understand if it was someone that we already now with agenda of doing what he does, because who the heck is Charles apart from being the twin of Alison's brother.....I'm disapointed this is probably the worst show I have ever watched It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tbh, I'm glad Marlene lied to us. I was so happy to watch Mona again. Plus, Marlene almost admited that we know who Charles is and have already seen his/her face but with an other name. There's no major spoilers though. - The Summer season will consist of 10 episodes, unlike the usual 12, and will take place over the course of three weeks following the Liars escape from A's dollhouse. Within these 10 episodes there will be "absolute completion" to the A mystery. - The Liars will graduate high school and at the end of the Summer season there will be a 4-year time jump, so college will be skipped. - The first episode of the season is called "Game On, Charles" and the summer final will be called "Game Over, Charles". - The Liars will come face to face with Charles, who will be unmasked, and learn his connections to Red Coat and the Black Widow, who's identities will also be revealed. - Answers will be given to every question asked since season 1. Season six is "the season of answers". - We will learn exactly who Bethany Young was and how she came to end up buried in Alison's grave. - There will be the mystery of ANOTHER missing girl in the summer (probably Sara Harvey) - Alison will get out of jail this summer. - How long A was planning and building the dollhouse will be revealed. - Lesli will be a pivotal part of season 6. - Rumer Wiliis will return to the cast as Zoey who we met in Season 4 (she worked with Emily in Haiti). - 5B marked the beginning of the end of this mystery in Pretty Little Liars. I think it's a bluff, I kind of a--lyzed what it can mean. They have introduced so many false A reveals, the whole concept of there being two A's to begin with was too much in the sense that Mona is original A and that someone stole her game, someone with a darker motive. Confirmed: Big A's story starts beginning of Season 3 and ends at the 6A finale (due to Big A being revealed). After 6A there will be a 4 year time jump so 6B-7 will be a whole new dimension therefor a new antagonist has to be introduced , so I think it's a bluff for saying that there will be one more and final antagonist and not necessarily an anonymous one, Uber A could be a codename as of now. I think that would be even better and more of a reason for her (Cece) to hate the Liars. I really don't think Andrew have anything to do about A.
