Yeah, I mean, they can get blown up along with everyone else.

So I was in Lebanon during the 2006 bombings by Israel. I've experienced terrorist bombings as where prisoners were released onto the streets with attached bombs and they blew up. There were undercover spies who also practiced suicide bombings. The people responsible were hiding out in the southern and northern parts of the country and would observe society and general ongoings on people. Places that had higher security reduced the risk of these sort of attacks. Suicide bombers are less likely to follow through with their attacks if they see these kind of figures.

Anyways, the most important thing is this situation regarding future attacks would be to heighten security. This is not a hard measure to comply with; people could easily be hired to watch out for these things and take the appropriate measures if necessary.

And you're right at the end of the day. There is no such thing as a completely safe world anywhere. But having some increased measures could help.

No, and this might be insensitive but I don't see why Ariana and especially other artists are feeling any kind of responsibility here. A large gathering of people was targeted. It has nothing to do with music or Ariana or anything. This kind of **** is so damaging to society because we think we have to start doing things to prevent another bombing but we really just have to live with the fact that this is always going to be a rare possibility. we can't give up concerts or our right to privacy or elect dictators like that's going to fix it. It won't. okay rant over :)

No, this is one incident in how many million concerts of the past. Don't let them win with fear.

That was my whole point as well. Glad that you agree with me. We need to keep in mind that venue owners and also the artists we see in such arenas are millionaires. Wouldn't hurt them to fork out a little more for additional security, even if this means increasing ticket price by 10 Dollars/Euros.

I generally agree. I don't see what's wrong with increasing a little bit of security, especially at larger shows such as this one with 20K+ people.

Yes, there are usually security around arenas. I'm sure they can increase it even more. Still, terrorists will just look for the soft target areas. They can move them further back, but they will still find the places which are considered soft targets.

Like Edonis said. This would still help a lot.

You can't really do this to get into a lobby for a train station or to go onto a street. Nothing is going to keep you one hundred per cent safe, unless you never leave your house. (And something could still happen, tbh)

But as they say prevention is better than cure. Yes these things happen, obviously, but upping security will do no harm even if need be close to train stations when such huge events are on.

What ? No ?

This is idiotic. There was a terroristic bombing at Istanbul, Europe's 3rd busiest Airport. Did we cancel aviation ? Or there was a terroristic attack during la Fete Nationale of France, Nice. Did we cancel National Holiday Celebrations ?

Let's not be full of fear like a bullied kid, or narrow minded to go to extremes to stop our lives because of some terror attack.

She won't cancel the tour, it wouldn't make sense for her to do that...I'm gonna be in this exact same arena in October to see her.

I'd understand if Ariana cancelled the rest of her tour though, I can't imagine what she's going through right now - no doubt blaming herself for it.

FRANK1991

I heard Ariana Grande canceled her Europe tour

either way if Gaga doesn't cancel it's more likely that security in Europe Tour will be strict like adding  metal detectors and x ray

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

More security should be added and everyone should be checked from head to toe before entering such huge gigs. Install detectors. Have a no bag policy in the Arenas. have sniffing police dogs. I never understood why searches aren't carried out for huge events. At least I've never been searched for gigs in Europe.

I was at the Beyoncé show in Paris last year and they did searched us and really well honestly. The thing that I'm afraid of is when the show ends, people are usually all rushing to get out at the same time and there are usually no securities.
