BTW was the era I was in 10th grade! It premiered on her website at like 4am or something crazy like that, the born this way single <3 and i set my alarm and had the lyrics all memorized before i went to school at 8am

I literally could cry tears of happiness about how much hope and strength the born this way era actually gave me! I promoted tf out of it at my school and the whole VMA singing the chorus thing just brought it up so much, and little things like that throughout the year it was released! <3 i was pumped for the next interview, gagavision or just random leak <3

i love her so much! Born This Way Era will always be my favorite <3

Born This Way. 

TFM conquered 2010, so when she sang the snippet at the VMA's to the Anderson Cooper interview, you knew something huge was coming. And it did, culminating with her being born at the Grammy's 2011 from the vessel. It was amazing.

The wait for ARTPOP was tiring, and the wait for Joanne was exhausting. Also, it didn't really feel like we were waiting for The Fame Monster - she was steadily promoting The Fame/Paparazzi up until that time, with multiple television appearances and such. I stanned her a bit prior to The Fame's release, so that'd be second for me.

I anticipated BTW style promo and that app, omfg that app, I was like OMFFFG a f$cking app, this is the future!!! then Gaga was like B-sides will be released through the app 

And that picture was so refreshing, I lived for TFM and BTW blackness. But this pic showed me an evolutionised Gaga, Gaga with brown hair, made me think of her pre-fame The Stefani Band days after the storm comes the sun some sh$t like that.

The visuals were stunning, Swinefest was amazing (just to be low key disappointed by the studio versions later ) (looking at you Swine/Sex especially). She was so much smarter then as well, Gaga came off as pretentious saying stuff like BTW is the album of the decade and stuff. Gaga for the Swinefest was all "I'll sing the new tracks beforehand because people wanna know what they're buying"

For me it was Born This Way. The anticipation was killing me, and there was so much promo you just couldn't avoid it. And what really got me hyped for it was when she previewed Scheiße and Government Hooker at the Mugler fashion show. I was so excited I almost peed my pants

I was 11  I was just too young to really appreciate the full era. I was still a casual fan, but it wasn't until 2015 that I started paying more attention

Why isn't she doing heavy promo like for BTW or The Fame perfume nowadays ? It was like one of the main reasons why I loved her

I'm honestly kind of surprised how much ARTPOP era was chosen...

I've been here since Just Dance was released, i bought the fame, and was there downloading the leaks of the fame monster like a month before its release on LimeWire haha...the old days..

but i'd have to say ARTPOP was my very least favorite era...it just seemed like a huge mess, and she talked it up so much on how big it was gonna be, and basically like everything failed, the singles, the so called ARTPOP app that never happened.... ARTPOP era was like a total fail, and i talked that album up so much to everyone and then it came out and i was honestly expecting something more like the Coachella intro...the dark dance music...ARTPOP just seemed like a bad time in her life, and I only have a few of the ARTPOP songs still on my playlists...

I totally agree with this video but I don't see how it relates to her doing promo for her stuff. I mean, if she doesn't like it, fine, but making all this promo looks so fun and what people remember from an era besides the music itself is ''Oh yeah, I remember when she did this to promote her album, it was iconic''.
