Yuuri 21,636
Just like to me, what if her earlier hits didn't break through? As we know, Gaga's breakthrough was went hand-in-hand with the revival of pop dance music compared to what was popular at the time, which was R&B and slow love songs. Well what if both Just Dance and Poker Face floped? Would we will be in an age of music dominated by Alicia Keys, Sara Bareilles, Rihanna and Beyonce as our pop girls? sillynate 6,170
I think eventually popular music would've changed not sure when, how or by whom.......
juju 18,907
We probably wouldn't have held her in such high regard so soon in her career, which may have been a blessing tbh. Little Monsters were spoiled with success so early on that when things don't take off chart-wise they have a habit of writing it off as a flop, for example the ARTPOP era and Perfect Illusion - when in reality, ARTPOP sold quite a good bit and spawned a hit single, and Perfect Illusion is simply a terrific song. ❤ x ❤
Haroon 49,685
We'd be wearing flare jeans and baggy crop tops

TimisaMonster 31,073
Gaga had a huge impact on music, fashion, and fan interaction that was completely boring and monotonous back then...she made music interesting, videos became events upon release, and everyone wanted to know what she would wear next... I literally dont know what 10 years ago the music scene would've been like Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!

Batwings 12,885
All of pop music would just be about going out to clubs and dancing, and all the pop girls would just be wearing sparkly mini-dresses and doing basic-ass choreo in front of colorful backgrounds. I agree completely. There has never been a breakout star to have such a massive global and cultural impact so immediately in their career, and there hasn't been one on the same level since Gaga's debut. We were so f*cking spoiled right from the beginning, and we didn't even know it.
