I already said this in another thread, but realistically speaking the soundtrack, especially when it comes to Gaga's vocal talents, will end up getting more praise than the movie itself. That is, depending on what musical direction they will go in, which is uncertain as of right now. As long as they don't go too modern, I'm satisfied. 

If/when the final product turns out to be a success, get ready to roll your eyes every time you hear someone say "Oh my god, Lady Gaga is so damn talented! I never knew that what with all those crazy costumes!" or "Wow! This crazy meat-dress chick's got a f***ing awesome voice!" to the point where you'll eventually get tired of rolling your eyes.

I dont expect acclaim for the movie but i hope it doubles its budget. So if they spend 20M$ i hope it does 40M$

I have no doubt that the soubdtrack will do ok. Im guessing like a total of 300k in pure sales in the US when its all said and done.
