JohnWayne23 5,227
On New Zealand's music charts released today, every song from Ed Sheeran's Divide album placed in the Top 30 BUT! Lorde's "Green Light" was able to come out on top, debuting at #1 (This is her 3rd #1 in New Zealand following "Royals" and "Tennis Court"). Lorde is the first lead female artist to have a number one song in New Zealand since Adele's "Hello" debuted in 2015. #1 Green Light - Lorde#2 Shape of You - Ed #3 Castle on the Hill - Ed #4 Dive - Ed #5 Galway Girl - Ed #6 Perfect - Ed #7 How Would You Feel - Ed #8 That’s What I Like - Bruno Mars #9 Something Just Like This = The Chainsmokers & Coldplay #10 It Ain’t Me - Kygo & Selena Gomez#11 Happier - Ed #12 How Far I’ll Go - Alessia Cara#13 New Man - Ed #14 What Do I Know? = Ed #15 Slide - Calvin Harris feat. JohnWayne23 5,227
Keep in mind that Ed has always been WAYYY more popular in New Zealand than the US, so this won't be exactly how it will happen in the US. His songs didn't stream and sell at the rate they did in NZ this week.
Laceface 2,964
Well Lorde is a Kiwi after all Ed will do well in most common wealth countries, kinda a given.
