And the critics say she doesn't love us. Remember that she isn't obligated to do all that she does for us. She isn't obligated to shower us in hugs and I love yous or to send us pizza or to send us homemade videos wishing us Merry Xmas. She does it because of the pure and genuine love she has for her monsters. She once said that she doesn't know what she ever did to deserve such loving monsters but the truth is idk what I ever did to deserve someone as awsome as her. I've always said that if one of us ever honestly really truly needed her she would be there in a heartbeat regardless of the distance or hour. The bond we share is undescribeable unless you're a monster. Someone once said (idk if it's true) that Cynthia had tweeted that we were Gaga's last thought as she was wheeled into hip surgery and her first thought when she woke up. I'm a nurse and women who are adopting babies always ask me "what if I can't bond with a baby that isn't biologically mine?". I always tell them "biology isn't stupid. As soon as that baby is placed in your arms, hormones will flood your body that will promote bonding. Parenting requires love not DNA." It never fails that as soon as that baby is placed in their arms, they fall in love. It's like the maternal instinct switch gets switched on. They go from "what if I can't bond" to "if you touch that baby, I'll rip your ****ing face off". Quite miraculous really. I've always said that we didn't grow in gaga's womb but we grew in her heart. This is just my 2 cents but if you (not you personally) only love her for the number 1 hits and the quirky outfits then it's time for you to leave because that isn't love. Real love shouldn't be conditional. Now I'm not saying you have to love everything she does but there's a huge difference between saying "I don't really care for this but I'm gonna stick around because I care about her" and "where are the quirky outfits and why isn't she #1?!? I'm leaving forever!!!" . She didn't have to create a "home" (little monsters) where we were loved for who we are. She didn't have to love us as if we were her own. She didn't have to invite us backstage. She does all of this things because she genuinely does love her monsters. I thank god everyday for her because I remember how dark life was before gaga. She was there when no one else was. I love her whether she's a lavender blonde or letting her roots grow out. I love her whether she's wearing a meat dress or jeans and a tshirt.
