Angel Down is UNDERRATED

Joanne live is amazing. Million Reasons has grown on me substantially and now I love it. Angel Down is also amazing to me. It's the song I was most impressed by. My issue, however, is that Angel Down should have been at least a 5 minute song. It doesn't really have a bridge, which it should have, a build up from chorus to chorus in terms of the instrumental would've been cool, and just listening to the instrumental at some point would've been a nice addition to the song, but I understand why they didn't do that with the song. Every Joanne song is short and that's part of it's cohesion. That being said, though, Angel Down really could have been that "grand" ballad in Gaga's discography. Ha November Rain, if you will. Also, if it was in the key of the Work-Tape, I think it would have been better too. When she hits that high note at the Hillary Rally, it's just the most amazing thing ever.

Regardless of all the missed opportunities the song has come across, the song, as it is, is still absolutely amazing and a true standout in her discography. I love it, and I always will. I just wish it had those changes.

I love the style and lyrics of AD but I don't like the structure of the song. The chorus doesn't go anywhere IMO, which is sad because the lyrics are powerful. And the bridge takes the power out of the song even more.

Joanne remains my favorite ballad from the album.

I love Angel Down. We all need to take the time to help one another because one day when we need help, there may not be anyone left to help. I saw this on Facebook awhile ago and it's so true. 

First they came for the Blacks but you didn't speak up because you weren't black

I think Million Reasons is a good song and it's clearly one of the songs Gaga performs with more passion but I prefer Angel Down over it. The emotion, the lyrics, the melodies and the message are way better.

My opinion seems impopular. Just Another Day is the only song which is getting less streams on Spotify than Angel Down and I'M SHOOK.

This cult site is loving John Wayne and T̶H̶E̶ ̶U̶P̶C̶O̶M̶I̶N̶G̶ ̶S̶M̶A̶S̶H̶ ̶T̶H̶I̶R̶D̶ ̶S̶I̶N̶G̶L̶E̶  Dancing In Circles or even A-No, but just a few are giving love to the three Joanne ballads. Even though our #4 hit single Million Grammys saved the era, many people are still not into it. And others find Joanne (title track) boring.

I was so excited about AD when the snippets leaked, but when I listened to the full version the first time, i just felt like the instrumentals and especially the bridge is really bland. It still became my favorite song on Joanne regardless, but it could never reach Bad romance/ the edge of glory level for me because of the lackluster production
