"Feminism is unnecessary because sexism is not a big problem anymore" :neyde:

I have heard (and been told by my parents) many times that discrimination based on gender, sex, sexual orientation, race, etc. either doesn't exist anymore or will die on its own. Even if it would in the hundreds of years it would take, that is still too late.

I'm sick of people pushing forward social movements and aiming for progress being disregarded and called "SJW's" and "libtards" just because they present a minor inconvenience to the people they're trying educate.

Anyway, go Ari! I hope someone learns something from her tweet :golfclap:

Except that it IS something serious. So many men think they can objectify women. This has always been the case as we are living in a society that's macho-driven for as long as humanity can remember. But we're at a point now where an über macho is about to become President.

Boys need to be put in their places. If Ariana dresses sexy, that's her choice. It does NOT imply that she's an "easy sl*t" and should be talked about in a derogatory manner.

And shame on you guys, you are on a Lady Gaga fansite. Maybe look into her work a little deeper. Maybe google her NYU paper on sexuality.

:bye:
