the lies.

It's been promoted ONCE and it was top 20 without being a single lolz and people were tweeting way more about it after SNL than they were tweeting about MR.

Both MR and A-yo were performed on SNL, yet after that A-yo charted higher + people were talking about it on twitter.  MR overshadowed it after the carpool, cuz A-yo wasn't included there in the first place.

It's STILL the most streamed track and the highest charting track besides the 2 singles.

What more do you need lol.

DIC is one of the songs that will flop the HARDEST.  It's amazing, but yeah.  Joanne, Angel Down, even John Wayne has more potential lol

Oh please it was only selling slightly better than MR even though it had the AM ad spinning too

MR had budlight ad spinning and immidiate promo on Carpool.

Anyway no point in arguing.  Both MR and A-yo are the 2 songs with most potential on the album.  One was a single now it's the other songs turn.

Hence why both songs were released as promo singles (like Dark Horse and Walking on air were released),  Like I knew you were trouble was released and so on.

The album is doing ok considering no hits/radio airplay etc.  If we have a hit somehow later in the era, it will do wonders.

Let's not forget that at the time that MR was announced as a single,

A-yo was still receiving more radio airplay for DAYS still.

Because it was added to All Access :rip: Believe it or not there are still some small radio stations that will add and play and Gaga song the minute it's added. That's why she can still manage to get like 2M airplay for any song right out of the gate lol

I believe that the SB wil give a fresh push to the era so I feel that Gaga needs to push MR along with a 3rd single at the SB (either DIC or A-YO) but if she has to either perform PI and another song from Joanne (since the song fits the SB so well and it's the lead) I think she should keep pushing MR. MR has the potential to become a big hit if airplay supports it after the bowl. A strong single along with strong album sales (that we already have and will continue having in greater extends after the SB) will allow Gaga to have chances to release a 3rd and a 4th single and still have chances of success. If they take their chances with a 3rd single after the SB and the song isn't embraced by the GP unlike MR, then the era will be doomed without successful singles to maintail album sales and exposure in the long run.

LMAO. Y'all really think DIC has potential? :air::air::air:

Sis, she will even look more reductive than Madonna. I mean, releasing a song because it has a trending sound, that's not even trending anymore is more a Madonna thing to do. Y'all think because Sia has some hits with a tropical song ft. a rapper, this would be a smart move? You really think Gaga would have the same succes? I'm sorry, but no. Do you even know Gaga? She will never release a single because it has a trendy sound and it will do better on the charts, she's not like that. She never plays save and she don't care about the charts that much this time. And even if she did, to be honest, this isn't even a Cheap Thrills, what are y'all thinking? This would be a bigger flop than G.U.Y. :smh:

I love the song, but really...

MariA-NO still trying to spread his A-NO agenda? :diane:

It seems like Gaga is too :nick:  The lovely thing is that y' all will have to deal.  I am not even lurking on these threads about charts and **** anymore and still have a more clear mind with what can be a hit and what not lol.

DIC will not be the 3rd single and it won't have a rapper feature ever  L o L

It won't feature a rapper but it could be the 3rd single.

I think DIC would bomb hard. All my non-gaga-fans friends hate it and say it's the worst song on the album :awkney:

Your fav album is ARTPOP, period.

I played Joanne to all my friends, everyone thought A-yo was great and I literally forced DIC to them, cuz I think it's a great dance track and they were still NOT having it.

Is there another song on the album that does have potential?

DIC is the best chance she's got. It's semi-trendy sounding and has simple generic lyrics that could appeal to the younger audiences, which is something she desperately needs for pop radio and streaming
