But the music was ACTUALLY GOOD, that's how she got those hits. Radio refused to play her and she had zero promo for a long time. But the music was so incredible that her songs slowly started taking off. Anyone with sleeper hits deserve everything they get tbh. It's an indicator of good music. Revival was HAILED by critics and was on MANY of the year-end lists. That album is so mature and the lyrical content is immaculate, It's such a fresh album. U might not like Sel or the album but u can't take that away from her. The album was not generic or mediocre at all like Confident, even tho i like Demi. Revival showed artistic growth. MOM might be forgettable to many, But it's a pretty good album, which again showed artistic growth, it's the kind of album the Grammy's used to nominate when they were credible. Next year Million Reasons SOTY and ROTY I am hoping Million Reasons for SOTY and A-YO for ROTY. ROTY favors songs with more complex production where SOTY is a songwriting award which favors acoustic tracks that focus on lyrics and melody.
