ElectricAlley 1,737
ARTPOP came out during my Freshman year of High school, and during that time I was really coming to terms with my sexuality/identity. Well I ended up coming out the last day of freshman year, to my old best friend. The entire ARTPOP era reminds me of this time of my life. It was great, everything was so new and fresh. That summer I ended up going to the artRave with a super cute boy that I was basically obsessed with. Nothing ever really came out of it, but seeing gaga live was a truly life changing experience. And seeing all the visuals and music that had gotten me through it all was incredible. It took a whole week for me to recover after the artRave, because it just all seemed so life changing. So ARTPOP reminds me of a really good time in my life, and is my favorite gaga album.

I'm gay, but have been out for decades.. and have been married to another guy for close to 20 years. That's actually really cool that even at a more mature age you can still appreciate her! PI Floppedt 904
Omg she did so many things to my life. Hmm... - She was the first pop star that taught me to find comfort and even feel armoured in my eccentricity, even if that made me stand out like a sore thumb among my peers. - Witnessing her go from peaks to troughs to peaks somehow ignited a series of thoughts which led to me concluding that one shouldn't be afraid to create art just because people may thrash it. - Witnessing her amazing talent and passion to continuously improve herself has helped me to develop a keen eye of who deserves my stan card. - She was the first pop star that got me interested in graphic design with her passion in art, even if I started out with very striking and over-the-top imagery. - She made me reaffirm my belief that humility is imperative in a business that pivots much on subjectivity and opinions. You can get carried away in the praises and attention and let those rear their ugly heads or you can remain humble, knowing that success can be snatched away anytime. - She was the first pop star to impress with her powerful female presence. It equipped me with more conviction to do my part to empower the women in my life. I might add more soon, but for now, these are the ones I remember. I don't actually hate PI

Letmelivemylife 8,715
She's had a MAJOR impact on my life. I spent years trying to fill the huge emotional void that my bio mom left. Yeah Coke/heroin numbed the pain for awhile but the pain never really went away. I was so ready to end it all until Gaga came into my life. She's been my saving grace. I was slipping down that deep dark hole and she grabbed my hand and saved my life. She became a surrogate mama to me. She taught me that giving birth doesn't make you a mother. A mother is the person who loves you more than you can imagine and is always there when you need her the most. Not all moms are biological but that doesn't mean they matter any less. My bio mom is slowly working her way into my life but idk if I'll ever be able to call her Mom. She wasn't there when I needed her. Yeah she gave birth to me but gaga will always be "mom" to me because she did all the things that a mama is supposed to do. So many have said that my devotion to gaga is creepy but Until you've felt unloved, you don't know what it's like to have someone who loves you unconditionally for who you are. The critics have said that other celebs love their fans too. I just smile to myself and say "no they don't. Not honestly and truly. Their love for their fans is artificial. It's the type that can be bought. Gaga loves her monsters with every fiber of her being. It's a deep maternal type of love that runs deep to her core. I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you
