Katy may not have gaga's vocals but she is a very smart girl who somehow (well, maybe thanks to her team, too) always manages to impress the GP, I mean people literally DEVOUR her songs, she knows what will do good commercially, has that intuition. She's more polished, colorful and overall "pop" than Gaga, while Gaga is a more complex, ever changing artist who will never do the same thing twice. They're very different and I hate the comparison so much. In my opinion, Katy is just so bland. As if people do all of the "creative" things for her as she sits back and takes orders. Just no. Being an entertainer takes talent too tho the only difference is one kinda does what they want while the other tries to cater to the public both have a place in the industry and quite franqkly whether ur an artist or an entertainer doesnt necessairily speak to what ur talent is u can be a talanted person catering to people.
