We knew that she was not selling that well outside of US but it is kinda tragic for her team that it sold less than Rebel Heart in its starting week(RH sold 315k). 

Don't come at me for this, I personally do not care; it is her team's problem, not mine. 😂 I am a fan, not manager of Gags' record company.

let's be honest streams have damaged album sales a lot, i mean, people rarely stream full albums, the gp only streams the "popular" songs... so this is good, the sales will be down every year for everyone. Also when it comes to WW you have to think about currency, for example the dollar is so expensive for us right now, therefor albums become more expensive... so we don't buy them (i mean i did but a lot of people just stream or download illegally, i'm in a lot of groups of Mexican or latino monsters who don't have money to buy so they download from somewhere else) 

So i do think Gaga did really good in general, specially since it has such a country vibe which is a style that is only really mainstream in the US

The fact that it's the second highest debut by a female artist matters. Music sales has declined a bit so you should compare the album to the albums that were released at the same period, not albums released like five years ago.

May I respectfully (and I mean it) point out that Madonna released several versions of the album, and  some of them with exclusive content?

A Standard, a Deluxe, a Super Deluxe, all three with different covers and then a French exclusive (with a bonus CD?), a Target (if I remember correctly) with a song you can't find anywhere else, and of course the Japanese with some remixes and so on.

of course GP couldn't care less about it, but since Madonna's Records have been for at least 20 years the most collected for a Female Artist, I suppose her Stans and Collectors bought at least two copies of it (I bought the EU Super Deluxe, and I am pissed because I don't have the bonus track in the Mediamart or Target Exlusive)

Gaga released so far two version of Joanne + Japanese Import (I am not counting the clean and Uncensored because I don't know if Madonna made the same), with the same cover and let's face it, unless she/he is an Hardcore Collector of her physical releases a Stan of hers can buy one copy of the Deluxe and being perfectly happy with it. (I own the Japanese Deluxe so far, waiting for the Vinyl)

Again, I am not shading Madonna, I am just saying that the two releases are very hard to compare, even considering just their respective Fanbases.
