Fame IV 4,426
Of course. Joanne is an amazing album with a lot of artistic input. Can't wait for it to snatch Best Pop Vocal Album A Star is Born ⭐
MonsterOfSpain 8,318
Both are the two best albums of the year, queens served
GagaTheExplorer 3,053
I don't understand why people is so salty? obviously Britney has lower standars, she came from Pretty Girls to a decent album, it's a big step up. when it comes to Gaga you know she can do better than this, better in terms of lyrics, production, melodies, and less forced vocals so obviously you need to have a different judgment yes, Joanne is a better Album, but is easy to understand why critics are judging them with different standards
Born To Slay 10,996
I'm not sure of which one I like more yet, you people aren't giving Britney enough credit at all. She put a really good album, an album with a lot of replay value and fun songs and the lyrics btw, aren't bad. They're meaningfull in their own ways. I could writea ****ing thesis on how deep songs like "Man On The Moon" and "Just Luv Me" are. Britney put out a good album lyrically, production wise and concept wise. So you music elitists bitching about bias can shut the hell up. Some of Britney's best albums were givin ****ing 60s. She's not a critics darling. People take her unfairly as a joke. So they're not just gonna give her a good score for the ****ing hell of it. Look the scores of pop masterpieces like "Blackout" for proof of that. ryhanna 3,507
Britney making her best album in years VS Gaga making an album that's jarringly different from any of the Pop she's ever released. Joanne is great, but the fact that it's such a contrast to her previous albums is going to leave critics with a preconceived notion of what she'll deliver that's very different to what Joanne actually is. Whereas Britney delivered a classic Britney album that was pretty above the standard of her last releases.
Born To Slay 10,996
I just read thru the whole thread and I can't get over the arrogance, "of course Gaga is better then Britney, the critics must be biased or judge Britney on a lower standard HAHAHAHA" As much as you don't wanna admit, Britney is an artist whose incredibly successful and is just as good as Lady Gaga. She didn't last 18 years for no reason. (And don't come for Glory's sales, it's probably gonna out do Joanne)
Wacky 480
Joanne is preferably better, I believe all of Gaga's albums always give its listeners a journey, a musical journey, like it's big long trip that ends in satisfaction

A song called "Make Me (Ooh)", who would check that **** out? Basic af. Britney has no artistic credibility ever, this is like saying a Gaga album is better than Katy Perry.. like OBVIOUSLY. 1. Make Me is a very good song. It had poetic lyrics that are sexy but have a hint of romanticism that make the song kind of cute. The song is well produced and the song is actually very well performed by Britney and G-easy. It got reviews because it was a good pop song and that was kind of unique. 2. Now ur gonna demean Katy Perry? Her last 2 albums were pretty damn good with a lot of gems, so I don't know how you can sit here and tell me she's so far below Gaga. And I know what ur gonna say, ur gonna tell me Gaga is deeper and makes real music. Well that's not a real criticism, making deeper or more meaningful songs, doesn't make you a better artist. That leaves too much out of the equation.

Like how is the forum going to hate on Britney when she makes the same type of music Gaga does? If you like one's music, there is a high chance you should like the other's too. Katy is a little different because people are salty about her since Roar but it's the same thing basically.

They're so pretentious, it's perfectly fine to not like Britney or Glory, or think Gaga's better but to act like Brit is this joke that shouldn't be taken seriously is just bitchy. Merier Care 27
Nope. Actually, Joanne is a snoozefest on the level of Britney Jean, means it's her worst album to date. Just because the army scalped us on twitter since Perfect Illusion came out doesn't mean you weak ****ers need to act all butthurt. Glory is an incredible album and Joanne can't compete at all. It's a shame she could not release another album of the millenium but this would mean that she had to best ARTPOP. And that's an impossibility. Sorry "joanne", maybe next time.
