okay but can we discuss the Gwen Stefani vocals? Even the whole song has a bit of a reggae ska beat that No Doubt had, what's the story with this

When I first heard it I though Ace of Base and No Doubt :toofunny: This song is so daring and sexy.

Dancin' In Circles NEEDS to be a single! Instant favorite.

'I touch myself to pass the time' part is just too cringy, but it's my fav song nonetheless

Isn't it the truest of truths though? That's my fave thing to pass the time too.

Thank you, Gaga, for this track!!!  I get a mix of Bollywood, Alejandro, Ace of Base vibes from it.  Have only heard it once (as it got removed from everywhere!) but cannot wait for Friday!

Isn't it too explicit? Radios won't play it, at least not all stations....

There have been countless songs that were very explicit and were still played (and some of them even hit #1). The most recent ones would be S&M by Rihanna and Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke.

Gaga and her team could simply replace "touch" with "love" for the radio version of the song and you'd have a more clean version.

Kinda loving it, kinda hating it, I don't know.
It's catchy, the pre-chorus is amazing and the lascivious sung chorus makes me question my sexualtiy, but something feels odd to me. Such a great song and 2:33

The way she sings the verses kinda reminds me of the verses in ABBA's 'I'm a Marionette' but that's probably just me again. :toofunny:

OMG I just understood the verse "In the fire I call your name out (oooooh oooh ooh)"

Gagz you got me SHOOK

That's really a good metaphor, you really got to the point Gaga :golfclap:

(btw now that scream "whoooh whooo oooh" immediately gets a meaning :gaycat:)

I think I know why I like DiC so much, it's because it harkens back to an 'earlier' Gaga song. It reminds me of TF/TFM era, especially when she's using that cutesy vocality during the chorus. I'm one of those Gaga fans that's stuck in the past when it comes to her music, so this was an immediate bop for me. I love it.

It's obvious this is the song Ronson was referring to when he referenced Gaga using "little fame monster hooks" on the record.
