Born To Slay

Of all Britney's albums, no album gets more hate then BJ. One of her most poorly received from both critics and fans, and it's her lowest peaking studio album to date. But I must say that the album really wasn't bad. It was a good record.

The album had some truly personal and meaningful songs. Alien was a deep and relatable song about being lonely in the world, it was well written and Britney's performance was convincing. It Should Be Easy (ft Will.i.am) was lyrically complex, a song about how the concept of love is easy but execution can be messed up because if our other emotions. Passenger really got the feeling of finally being able to trust someone perfectly. Hold. On Tight and Now That I Found You were lyrically beautiful, the latter being about being ready to give up on life until someone brings you back to the goodness of the world.

Of course, there were dance jams as well. Work Bitch is a fantastic song, lyrically fun and the production is still stellar. Til. It's Gone is super fun to dance too but is actually lyrically deep. Tik Tik Boom was sexy as hell and you could dry hump the wall to it. I've ****ed my wall to it too many time to count. It Should Be Easy should also mentioned here with its epic dance break.

So while Glory is the better album and this album may not be ur favorite in Britney's discography, when u look back on it, it just might not be the disaster u thought it was. In fact, Lady Gaga's Joanne might end up being her Britney Jean.

I agree, I never thought it was as bad of an album as it was made out to be. Many songs on it were actually pleasant to listen to.

edit:

If I'm being honest, there are two or three acceptable songs on it but its not redeemable at all, and the entire thing is just robotic, shallow and void.

I mean, it's not even her voice on all the songs lmao

who will love me when the night is over

I really like Britney Jean. Such great producers like David Guetta, Otto Knows, Nicky Romeo, Sia, Dr. Luke, Sebastian Ingrosso, Will.i.am, Cirkut. It's an amazing album!

People SLEEP on this album. I LOVE 90% of the songs and the rest are still really good. Tik Tik Boom is EVERYTHING! Passenger, Perfume, Work Bitch, Hold on Tight, and Now That I Found You are BOPS! I've never understood the hate, especially form her STANS because this is honestly a great album (imo at least)

Til it's gone should have been a single. Alien is also good.

Some songs are attrocious though. (Chillin, Don't cry and the bonus tracks).:toofunny:

The album is more robotic than it should be but it's not so bad as it's treated.

And let's be honest Pretty girls is way worse than the whole Britney Jean album.

If you like TRANCE Genre , You Would like "Britney Jean" , and if you don't like TRANCE , you won't like "Britney Jean"

I'm a TRANCE lover so I love the album to death, since most of her fans like american pop songs they couldn't relate to the album, in my eyes Britney Jean is of her best albums , so much better than Glory with those Filler tracks.
