John Mayer will easily debut at #1 on next week’s chart with his new, critically acclaimed Born and Raised album. The release will sell between 225-250k in first-week sales. It’s his first new studio effort since Battle Studies, which moved 286k units back in Nov. 2009.The new disc is being praised for its winning throwback to the vintage Laurel Canyon sound of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. I'm not a big fan of hers, but I was hoping she would become a big act here in the US. I wish she would have released "let me down" It is the only other song I like on the album and it has a chorus that is reminiscent of her "since you've been gone days".
