I mean, most songs don't change the tempo :staymad:. You did not choose the right term.

I like it, but it's very simple. And the lyrics dont convince me very much.

I don't understand her need to be constantly screaming.

Like b*tch, calm down.

This is so Beautiful. Everything about it. My first thought when that inro came on was that it sounded very Coldplay like. I love it even more for that. I could totally see Chris Martin sing this btw.

I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half

It's beautiful and poignant. I don't think it will set the charts alight but if it makes some money for the orlando victims then that's the main thing!

Songs with lyrics this basic can easily come across as as trying too hard to be seen to be doing something. These kind of songs are so common now that they just don't excite passion in people anymore. We've heard these lyrics before, it's nothing new. It's like there's a checklist where all the uplifting lyrics are being ticked off. This song has an overwhelming feeling of that. Why is it that when singers are going through a backlash or have flopped that they think singing emotional ballads will make people like them again? That's what Christina's been doing ever since the ballads on Lotus and her feature on Say Something. It's just such a predictable route to take and it doesn't always work out. Honestly, songs like this are better done when it's a bunch of people singing them, like Live Aid. But when it's just one artist, it can seem attention-seeking and egotistical, like if it wasn't for them, no money would be being raised for the cause and aren't they great?

Change is definitely a grower. It's a beautiful, essential ballad with a minimal production. To say it a la Mark Ronson, it's a honest record.

Not what I was expecting for a comeback, but the fact that 100% of the sales will go to Orlando victimes makes it special.
