Ngl

The change around in dates being so short does genuinely point to a production issue imo

not some American saying a fan that they shouldn't travel to the show while Ariana only tour in 10 US cities and London and even her makeup artist told her international fans to “book a flight”

There’s two stops before Ariana gets to Brooklyn and those dates are proceeding as scheduled

Yeah, if it was health based it wouldn't be future dates. It'd be the next dates. And they would be rescheduling the whole block of shows in that venue not just moving one back a few days.

What though would cause a production issue that means they’re okay to proceed with Miami and Atlanta but have to reschedule shows in Brooklyn and Boston? Glad it’s not a health issue

It's likely to be a load in issue, especially with Brooklyn as its the first night postponed.

Maybe an expected delay in getting staging to the venue etc. That would seem the most likely case

Or possibly the venues making some part of their facility unavailable maybe?

Rescheduling sucks and artists should definitely be mindful of the impact before making a call like that. And I feel bad for fans who have been affected by this. But I agree with the tweet.

If you buy concert tickets in a place that requires serious travel, you simply have to take those risks into account. That's just reality. Artists get sick, technology can fail, weather is unpredictable, circumstances change.

It definitely sucks when artists don't bring their tour to your country but you can't blame the artist for the financial choices of the fan.

I agree the risk has to be taken into consideration when travelling for a show but I def don’t agree with the assumption that “concerts are meant to be for people who live nearby”. When you’re doing as few stops as Ariana, for example only doing ONE Canadian date got the scribe country, the artist is definitely assuming that people are travelling for it. It’s like a residency mindset. No one believes that Las Vegas residencies are only “meant for” locals.
