Despite Being Dubbed As The Most Tragic Lead Single of 2015...

Dangerous Man

As Focus being named a tragic song, it still did decent on charts, why?

    • Because that's one of a major pop girl can do, make a trash song a hit!

    • I still consider it a flop/underperformance.

    • Because it's not actually a tragic song, it's a pop masterpiece! I bop to it!

Whispering

Radio played it like crazy, despite the fact that its iTunes position wasn't impressive.

Then, the terrible call out scores came out last week...so then radio slowed down on radio play.

Music buyers and radio listeners aren't responding well to the song.

The whole world is finally catching on that she's desperately trying to replicate her previous success by creating a Problem carbon copy, and we're sick of it. Just deliver good music queen, and we'll be happy.

I won't say that Focus is a masterpiece, but it's catchy, has a nice music video, most of all

IT IS BEING PROMOTED.

When will G.U.Y.?

There are parts that are so weird like a chorus that isnt chorus-worthy at first few listens, but it grew on me. I dont think its a tragic song at all, it may not be lead single worthy or too reminiscent of Problem in my opinion but I still listen to it. I think Ari couldve done better.

Honestly, Focus >>> Problem to me.

You serious? Well, I dont know which is better for me but Focus does have this weird way of building up to the chorus then it doesnt live up to a usual chorus and start building up again. The verses and pre-chorus are good.

Yes, they're good. I have to be really #focused on the music to truly enjoy Problem. I hate the background music.

OMG How did I know before clicking that this thread would be about "Focus" :udidnt:

I heard it on the radio last night and hated it less but maybe that's just because I just came back from the bar. Idk. It feels like a half-baked thing in terms of the writing. The production is GODLY, especially the stuff in the bridge but that chorus.......GURRL. I have higher hopes for the rest of the album whenever it arrives.

No sis, radio stopped playing it last week. It is getting consecutive negative updates. :rip:

Radio has been stabilizing since the AMAs

The last radio update looks like it stopped slowing down and is about to start growing again. Hopefully.
