I personally do wish it was Murphy who asked Gaga and not the other way around but at the end of the day she's gonna be in my favourite TV show so i'm not complaining lol. I mean humans change their mind all the time and Gaga is a human being. She also said that we would never see her wearing flats and she wears them now. We shouldn't make a big deal about these things or even be bothered. It's not our life after all. I'm so thankful I don't have people keeping track of every tiny thing I ever say I want to do, whether completely serious or halfheartedly, and keeping me held to it. People, especially creative people like Gaga, have chaotic minds and are constantly changing in every aspect. The fact that she changes her mind isn't the point. People change as they get older and have new experiences. Its natural and expected. I I am actually an actor, (obviously not a famous one), and my first role was handed to me without auditioning, but a lot of time, they have agents who will have actors read for them and the director never sees. Maybe she wanted to placate her fans, diversify herself, or maybe she just wanted to use her starpower for this one thing she's always wanted to do and just couldn't resist. I personally agree with her old view on this as well, but at the same time if I was a celeb myself who knows, maybe I'd eventually try to put my name in the hat too if I really wanted something. This is similar to when she said she didn't understand why artists don't play their big hits in concert, and how she would never be like that etc., and now you can kind of tell she's kind of bored of them since she condenses them down to quick medley's. Or at least that she wanted to play a small part in the show, which prompted Ryan to write a whole role for her.He and the cast seem to be fangirling like crazy, but I trust it doesn't hurt the outcome of their work. I dunno. The thing that bothers me a little bit is that her character seems to be so much like Gaga as the public knows her. Apart from the tattoos, she is a flirty bi-s-xual wealthy blonde fashionista, just like Gaga. I have a feeling the GP will see Gaga, not Elizabeth, no matter how good her acting is. Fans may enjoy it better cause we know her better and distinguish her from the role. It might be good for her to have her first major role to be close to her own 'image'. But we all now how diverse her personality is, so there are many sides to her that aren't as well known by the public that could've been highlighted in her character, so it's not just people looking at the Gaga they all know acting crazy.
