It's just that in the past you only knew if you were a stan from the word go because there was no internet to find out about it. Happened to me once that a singer actually had a first single out, under her own name, video clip and all... But proceeded to deny the existence because it was a flop X-D Second one had more luck so she just stated that was her first and stuck with it foreverrr X-D Katy brought this one out as Hudson though, didn't she? It's like saying "Everyone can write a book, it doesn't matter if you have no talent". She should stick with song-writing or just singing acoustic with guitar.
