I agree, but to clarify, I'm not looking for a sound like 21, full of ballads. Although that would be nice.

I'm thinking more like Ceremonials, from Florence + The Machine. With a slightly more pop edge to it.

BYE TO YOU DARLING.

A synthline makes a song, now bye girl.

I love synthesizers, I'm just saying there should be less of them than there usually are on a Gaga record, because they'll allow the other instruments to shine more.

The awkward moment when you want to say goodbye to synthpop but Giorgio Moroder is the creator of the synthetizer.

ˆThere's no such thing as too much synth. Take away the synthline of songs you love and you will se the difference (especially gaga's songs)

Noooooo

Your OP is well thought out and those are great collabs and I like Kanye but no, I will be mourning synthpop if she's done with it. The Sam Smith obsession and organic sound obsession just scares me. I hear stuff like this and I get scared she's going to go all boring which is what she is CURRENTLY DOING WITH TONY.

Rat Boy

Synthpop is fading away. Artists like Rihanna, Kanye, Madonna and of course Sam Smith are pushing more organic sounds into the industry.

yeah that tour was cancelled and was planned before Kanye became more of an as$hole

If you call somebody who stands up for other people when they are wrong like that. May he be the biggest asshole of them all.

It's an endless cycle in pop music. "Synthetic" follows "organic" endlessly and vice versa. Electronic music was declared dead after the disco era ended, but here we are with Lady Gaga being one of the biggest Electronic music artists that have ever existed in music history. Synthpop and electronic music will never die.
