Hit maker Dr. Luke has slapped celebrity lawyer Mark Geragos with a defamation suit for claiming he's the unnamed record producer who raped Lady Gaga.

 

Luke  who's written and produced hits for Pink, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus  says he'd never even met Gaga at the time she says she was attacked nine years ago.

 

Further, the producer “has never been alone with her, has never touched her, and has met her only twice for very brief periods of time,†says the suit, which was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday.

The uproar started last week when Gaga said in an interview with Howard Stern that she’d been s-xually assaulted by an older record producer when she was 19.

 

She refused to identify her assailant  and Geragos later encouraged his Twitter followers to “Guess who the rapists(sic) was?†and “#name the pervert.â€

When someone suggested it was Dr. Luke, Geragos replied “#bingo.â€

Even after being told by Luke and Lady Gaga that his statements were wrong, court papers say, Geragos “refused to retract his statements  let alone apologize.â€

“Geragos has gone way too far with his arrogant and irresponsible conduct; he has lost all sense of ethics, propriety and decency. His conduct disgraces the entire legal profession,†the court papers say.

 

Geragos is representing another blond singer  Kesha  in her ongoing legal battle against Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald.

In her lawsuit, Kesha, 27, claims that Dr. Luke, 41, d--gged and raped her and triggered her long bout with eating disorders and depression. He denies the allegations.

 

Kesha's West Coast lawsuit was filed in October after Dr. Luke sued Kesha in New York, accusing her of breach of contract.

The “Roar†co-writer’s suit against Geragos seeks unspecified money damages for the “venomous accusations†that have been “repeated throughout the world by countless news outlets, causing incalculable damage."

 

“Not only do they constitute defamation per se of Plaintiff, they are deeply disrespectful to Lady Gaga and the entire community of s-xual assault victims, made worse by turning her highly personal and painful revelation into a flip online (guessing) game,†the papers say.

In a statement last week, a rep for Gaga said Geragos’ allegation “simply isn't true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter."

 

There was no immediate comment from Geragos, who has taken down the Twitter posting.

What I meant was that they are taking her words and using it for their own cases and twisting them. So Gaga's probably like
