SHALLOW 16,251
And to think i used to be a fan. She cringes me out so much now. Why can't she just evolve like everyone else?

This song is definitely meant to be throwback and an ode to their Millenial fans. Well, to be honest, very few musicians are capable of it. It's like for the most of them they happen to be in the right place at the right time and the audience just embraces them but it can't last long. Avril started feeling stale and out of place already with her self-titled and that was 12 years ago! I'd put her in the same category as Nelly Furtado, Christina, even P!nk at this point. We enjoy a decade of them and turn the page. That's why we have Gaga, an artist, in a completely different timeline. I've just listened to the song, quite inoffensive and nostalgic. It's alright, I think we shouldn't be too harsh on these people. 4

I felt like Love Sux was kind of a nice progression of her sound, but nowadays she really feels like a tribute act of herself. Everything is a throwback

dynamite 57,283
It's a nice throwback song! A generic version, like every other attempt to return to that sound, but nice nun the less Edited May 11 by dynamite Like a poem said by a neydy in red
