Dayum 240
The fact that c2c is out and being promoted full force RIGHT NOW negates the purpose of this entire thread, "Dude". Dude, I think they are referring to the "pop scene" blackout, nothing to do with jazz promotions.

Michael 533
Plus remember, Britney Spears took 5 years in between her fourth and fifth album. We are very lucky as fans that we won't have to wait that long.
Whispering 18,865
but I'm talking about the fact that she is gonna wait 3 years to release a new pop record since ARTPOP Once again, we don't know that it will be fourth quarter of 2016. It could be sooner than that. 2 to 3 years is typical and standard...and meanwhile, we are in the middle of a successful era that is garnering attention and respect, including the fact that it will probably end up adding a million or so album sales to her total. This "problem" is inside your head. Many other fans, and those in the music industry, don't feel the same as you do.
Whispering 18,865
She's certainly released enough music since her debut, that's not the problem. The problem is that the public hasn't been interested in her since 2011. It seems like Gaga can't be a normal pop star like Katy Perry where she's just there, releasing hit singles and people buy them. She has to either be the center of attention (2008-2011) or pretty much non-existent to the public (2012-2014). If her and her team can rehabilitate her image and pull off an era that doesn't end a couple of months after the album releases, she'll be fine. Two top 10 pop hits. (two top fives in many countries) Pop album in the top 10 worldwide in 2013. Two number one albums since 2013. A tour that will end up in the top 10 tours of the year. The public is well aware that Gaga is around and is making music.
TimisaMonster 31,073
Ummm...you realize the common thread between Rihanna, Britney, and Katy is they don't write their music and are practically pop puppets? It takes Gaga time (years) to write and create her album concepts...The other three walk in a room...lay down vocals and then have an album done like that! :thetea: Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! Pain of fame1 229
hello there is cheek to cheek THIS, And the HM commercial is on EVERY CHANEL EVERY DAY MULTIPLE TIMES. But I think she is going to release something in 2015 despite it not being her 6 album

CrownClown 105
I don't know, but she has to feature in someone's song, so she can still "be there without being there". Feature on a Rihanna/Adele/Katy Perry/Nicki Minaj/Sam Smith/David Guetta/etc song would be great I know that most of the fans are against the featuring of Gaga with the likes of KP and so on...but she has to do some features with some of her contemporaries! Rollercoaster 2
Dude, I think they are referring to the "pop scene" blackout, nothing to do with jazz promotions. Once again, pointless and false. Just because the album sounds different it doesn't mean the promo is invisible to pop fans. This thread is a mistake wrapped in a calamity. tomsches 17,392
It took Kate Bush almost 20 years to release Aerial, and look where she still is now

XoXoJoanneGaga 629
Two top 10 pop hits. (two top fives in many countries) Pop album in the top 10 worldwide in 2013. Two number one albums since 2013. A tour that will end up in the top 10 tours of the year. The public is well aware that Gaga is around and is making music. Aware and interested are two different things. Granted DWUW had some real buzz to it but that got squandered. "What happened to Lady Gaga" is way too common of a phrase amongst those who don't follow the pop world closely. But I do think Cheek to Cheek is doing a good job of getting her name out there in an interesting way again. A Grammy performance would be amazing.
