I'm shocked bc in Toronto it costs like 1000's of dollars a year for a decent apartment at least in the downtown area yeah but real-estate is completely different. Toronto rents and homes are more expensive cause its a big city people wanna live in and theres more bidding wars But Brampton has more serious accidents. Its a city of 550,000 so quite a bit of movements. But its a newer city so roads are wider and stuff so traffic moves more quickly. We have faster velocities and a lot of fatal accidents! In Toronto with the grid lock accidents are less damaging. Sometimes ppl dont make a claim and pay themselves We also have a high rate of fraud which drives up our insurance rates higher. But real estate isnt so cheap here either anymore. An average home is like $300,000 to $400,000. Cheaper than in Toronto or Mississauga but still expensive U want cheaper homes u have to go to smaller cities in the GTA like Milton, GeorgeTown, Caledon, Newmarket etc and even they arent as cheap as they used to be Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

theMonster5 74 Posted September 9, 2014 Share Posted September 9, 2014 u know what unaffordable where i live? car insurance! my city has the highest rates in the PRovince! a young guy my age will easily pay $500/month even with a clean record ($6000 a year) if this can prevent accidents and lower my insurance rates... me all up for it!
