That J 12,166
Also....at first glance I thought the artRAVE tour book was odd. But I've noticed I keep pulling it out and looking at it....and I smile with each page flip. I love this tour book and I love I have a hard bound copy! The colors are GORGEOUS and she looks sooooooo good in it. There's about 8 places where I can imagine her autograph in it lol. I'm a tour book collector and, just like ARTPOP the album, I predict the artRAVE tour book will be hella appreciated in years to come. I'm happy to own it! somechick 1
To Somechick.....I think what alot of people either don't know, realize or take into consideration is how you get nervous and worried....I do GET how that can make you feel. I've never personally had that when meeting famous folks cuz to me I feel I'm meeting old friends...but I can understand how that can just trap your mind up. You've done nothing wrong. You are just a thinker...someone who probably a--lyzes things to a fault! I have dear close friends like that and ill tell you like I tell them: You are an old soul and it's ok to let down your guard and realize YOU are WORTHY of any great experience you encounter. Try your best to not fixate on the one negative you can find in a totally positive experience! You are worth more than that!!! Re-focus your thoughts and enjoy this mean crazy life and the GREAT FUN things that you CAN (and have!!) gotten out of it! I'm proud to know you. Much love. Xoxo Well the thing is, I get more nervous because I'm prone to the anxiety attacks, and I don't want to cause a scene. I would die if it happened during the meet n greet. So then I worry about it, and the cycle keeps going. Hopefully I'll get talking to the other people in APZ that night and it'll kinda take my mind off it. And PS....you've made me have to pat your back and tell you everything's ok when you had APZ tickets! Something Aint right here! Lmao. Seriously, take pride in your experience. Don't ever let what could've been screw up what WAS! Xo haha well as long as I don't freak out and puke on her or something when we're about to have the pic. (Swine much)? lol Also....at first glance I thought the artRAVE tour book was odd. But I've noticed I keep pulling it out and looking at it....and I smile with each page flip. I already bought the normal tour book in Uncasville before I knew I had APZ and would get the hard copy (well now I'll have it three times coz I have 2 x LMZ shows as well haha), and I bought it because I collect tour books too, but I hadn't seen it before I bought it. I honestly really don't like this one. I mean I love the Monster Ball tour book, but this one.... meh. lol The pics are good, I just don't like the other stuff they did with it. I get it, it's the rave theme but not my thing.
That J 12,166
The Monster Ball Tour book was awesome! Idk...I like the artRAVE book better. I understand that's weird but it's true. I love the vivid colors, the texture of the pages, the feel, everything. But that's just my taste I suppose! The hardback DOES make it better, IMO. Chick, if you had an anxiety attack in the middle of the M&G, you'd prolly get CPR from Gaga herself....that's a WAY better deal than an autograph! Lol. But seriously, I do know what you mean and how you feel. I've been following your posts cuz I find you cool and you've really gone all out on this tour. I appreciate that and dig it highly! Just do your best to go with the flow, enjoy this time instead of worrying over it, embrace this awesomeness that is you being a part of such a tour! It's a good thing. May peace surround you and nerves go out the door. Sooooooo much love to you. :) The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw
That J 12,166
I have two friends who are prolly just like you, SomeChick. They worry about the possibility that they may worry when they shouldn't worry and that worry builds until they are finally at what they were worried about and then they worry that the worry they were worried about may be something to worry over. Here's what I say: Try as best you can to understand there is a difference between worry and concern. Concern is just hoping you are there, you don't fall down, things like that lol. But worry envelops the mind and takes you completely out of the cool scenario you are in. Don't worry about being worried!! Take deep breaths, center yourself, know you are worthy, and calm your mind. Then you will fully take in this awesome gift! Sooooooo much love to you. :) lol yeah everyone has their own tastes. ;) Guess I'll see how i feel about the hardback, but it's exactly the same (photo/page wise) as the softback one right? hahaha then I'd "wake up" see Gaga there and faint again or something. lmao I just don't wanna have to leave half way through the group chat or something coz I can't breathe or feel sick. :help: I know, I need to stop worrying, but as you said, it's such an experience that I don't want anything to go wrong. Ugh. It's so annoying coz like I can go about my usual day to day routine and it normally wouldn't happen, it's just in unusual situations or in big crowds that it tends to happen. I sort of just wish my APZ show would hurry up and get here so I can get it "over and done with". I know that sounds wrong, but I mean like then I would stop stressing about it. But I'm loving being able to go to so many shows. My work has been so awesome about giving me leave. I never expected to be able to do all this, so it's cool that I can (even though the b*tch is sending me broke ). Thank you for trying to make me feel better about everything. That J 12,166
Chick you are not alone! I can have tickets and be SO excited for months and months....then the day of the show ill sometimes be like "ughhh idk...do we really wanna drive 3 hours? Ugh...guess we should go so we can get it over with. Blah". Then once I'm there I'm like WTF was I thinking?!?! This is the coolest thing ever!! Lol. Maybe we are just weird brats. Haha. I do understand you, my friend.....and it's my pleasure. MWAH! ETA: yea the two tour books are the same but I love the hardback better. I had my LMZ swag on me hustling thru the arena to get to the floor and some guy stopped me saying "Want a tour book? 20 bucks!" I was fast walking saying "Nah...I paid 250 for this one!" Lol. somechick 1
lmao good comeback! Is it sad that I'm actually more excited for the bubble gun than the tour book? It is, isn't it?
Qualle1 1,385
Wow I'm really surprised at the rudeness of some people. It was a valid question. A little bit tongue in cheek but I have ARTPOP zone in November and I am disappointed that I can't choose what I want to be signed. I'm not Anti-ARTPOP, there's no need to get so defensive of it. If I didn't like it I wouldn't be going to see the show three times! I just like the CD the least out of all her albums. Jeez, I can't believe you guys sometimes. Forming a lynch mob because you all think I dislike ARTPOP. If I could choose anything to be signed it would be (in order):- Born This Way The Fame/Fame Monster Cheek to Cheek! ARTPOP Oh, I would also choose something to be signed from my beloved BTW or TF/TFM era! So, you are not alone and should not give a flying **** about what the delusional stans are preaching here... Enjoy your upcoming three shows! :) MAKE LOVE NOT WAR

Donatella 0
I was really hoping she'd sign my ARTPOP album. I would be disappointed if the tour book is pre signed and we can't bring in our own thing to get signed, with the price of the ticket and it would only take a few seconds to sign. She doesn't even have to put our names on it to speed it up. Also, like others have said, she did it for other fans and reading their stories got me thinking about when I meet her and her signing my cd for me. I don't like the thought of anything being pre signed cause I've heard stories about some celebs having someone signing on their behalf like fanmail and stuff and the autograph you get isn't really theirs. Not that I'm saying Gaga does that, but I'd rather see her sign in front of me, so I don't have any doubt in my mind, as I probably would otherwise. For me, I wouldn't mind what I get signed from her as long as she signed it in front of me. But that's just me.

Katie 65
I think it was probably the decision of her management/whoever to make things go more smoothly. I'm sure if you managed to walk in there with something else and had the balls to ask her to sign it, she would (although I wouldn't recommend it tbh because then everyone would start doing it and it would be a mess). If it's REALLY important to you, you could always try. Oh, and don't be too nervous! She is so super easy to talk to. I've only met her twice and it was years ago but I was nervous both times (obviously) and she makes it easy. I had another friend who had APZ who was super nervous to meet her too and I told him this. He told me afterward that I was right. You'll be fine!! :)

Somechick, I would tell her exactly what you said here. That the autograph is more important to you than the pic and if there isn´t time for both you would rather have the autograph. She will do it for sure. And if they don´t let you take it to her she will let you get it. I mean it´s honestly stupid. By the time you have said all this she could have signed ten things. I don´t get it, it´s just 20 people so I´m guessing the whole meet&greet would take about 3min longer if she would sign everything. It´s just so idiotic from the management to be so cheap with her time. You guys paid a lot of money.
