It may not be racist, but it is discriminatory.  It's obviously targeting a specific group.  I've never seen a dress code like that, nor many folks even dressed like that in Minneapolis..

go to NYC or LA and you will see it depending if its a high end establishment

When people read a list of dress codes and associate it with racist profiling...:fail:

How dare they target young white women with their "no sleeveless undershirts" rule!  :grr:

Yea, well Minneapolis is no NYC or LA.  The main point is that there's a clear specific group they don't want.  What do chains and sports jerseys have to do with this poor behavior the business is after?  The list is stupid.

If you wear excessively baggy clothes in a lounge like that, it doesn't mean that you are black or latino. It does mean that you have a horrible sense of fashion and no class.

When you walk into professional restaurants sometimes it's important to look like Carlton and not Will

It's not racist, they just don't want you walking in dressed like a hood rat. I'm positive that they wouldn't turn away someone of color who was well-dressed and had manners, just as I'm sure they would probably send a white man walking around with his pants below his waist and cussing up a storm straight to the door. Color ain't got nothing to do with it.

So you associate improper manners with how people dress?  I might as well call all the Monsters who dress for the artRave sluts because they sometimes come with minimal clothing.

Racist my ass. It's called a dress code.

The only "racist" ones in this article are the people claiming minorities all wear baggy pants, flat-bill caps and bling chains.

Dress with class or stay out of Bar Louie. Simple as that.
