I mean it's clear to me that they will give a Katy single a chance on radio after Dark Horse and Roar but let's not... 3M is too much. You realize that Born This Way had around 60M AI the first week .. Applause is the follow up lead single to Born This Way and the fact that it was struggling to top 50M AI for month shows how biased radios are ... There is definitely some bias about Katy and it's not only biase.. I feel like Capitol have some deals with radios, for real.. They are probably licking their asses + some payola for sure (at least in the beginning of the era) ... I mean .. P!nk smashed with JGMAR just as much as Dark Horse smashed and her next single FLOPPED both on radio and itunes.. whereas Uncle was pushed to 80M AI without even cracking top 20 on Itunes ... and Birthday is getting 3M update basically being outside of top 100 on Itunes.. I noticed it when it started having 2 million updates and it was in the Top 200. Where were G.U.Y. updates when it was released after the video and was in the Top 200? Radio hadn't officially added it yet, but they could still play it and it sure wasn't getting nearly 2 million updates.
