People expect it and she loves to do choreographed numbers. During these choreographed numbers, everyone has a heavy backing track- everyone! Even Beyonce! The difference is Gaga can then turn around, sit down at her piano and sing the shiit out of any of her songs acoustically! The others can't do that. That's an artist! Many of the pop girls (not Beyonce) sound like wounded animals when they try to sing without their backing tracks. Gaga sounds no different than her tracks. That tells you she isn't an autotuned artist. Gaga does NOT struggle to sing live! Singing live is her STRENGTH, not her weakness! Maybe (I agree on that tbh) but I think we should just let her do her thing. Sometimes she gives flawless vocals even while dancing and she is not always dancing in the first place. Gaga's backing track is not always loud, it was mainly on the BTWball. Still Gaga can have her backing track louder than Katy because she has a more powerful voice. Katy can't sing, simply as that.
