Aurajandro 150
I hope they're not giving up on this coz when the video first came out, those itunes banners, youtube ads were just...
mic 1,415
Here, you can see how fan favorites end up. What now? Gypsy? Now I see that Applause was ideal lead single choice.
aussie27 0
Interscope should discount ARTPOP to 5.99 as they did here in Italy, the album is #30 right now! it's been discounted before to 3.99 it goes up the charts for a week then plummels. The US public just is not interested in this CD unfortunately. Gypsy - is the only track that will save Gaga. G.U.Y. will not go back in the top 100 IMO. Atlas 1
I think the sales strategy rn should be bombarding GUY onto smaller stations and hopefully bigger ones will follow

gagaxuan 999
I don't consider this as a BLACKOUT... So we need Gaga to appear on radio interviews and TV shows everyday to consider her not blacking out ?? Sorry for my English
Snowyrain 38
Not some LittleMonster éxposing the IFPI Stop at people saying that Mediatraffic isn't reliable... This team do their job for 16 years without any problems and everything was right. Do you know why Mediatraffic is reliable ? Because he just adds up sales from countries since 1998. He just does the maths and it can't be more reliable than it is. It's based on official charts and I don't know why you don't understand. - USA (Billboard) - Japan (Oricon) - United Kingdom (Music Week) - Germany (Media Control) - France (Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique) - Canada (Billboard) - Australia (ARIA) - Italy (Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana) - Spain (Productores de Música de España) - Netherlands (MegaCharts)- - Belgium (Ultratop) - Mexico (Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas) - Brazil (Associação Brasileira dos Produtores de Discos) - Argentina (Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers) - South Korea (Gaon & Hanteo) - New Zealand (Recorded Music NZ) - Austria (Media Control) - Switzerland (Media Control) - Denmark (Tracklisten) - Norway (VG-lista) - Sweden (Sverigetopplistan) - Finland (Suomen Virallinen Lista) - Ireland (IRMA) - Portugal (Associação Fonográfica Portuguesa) - Poland (ZPAV) - Hungary (Mahasz) - Greece (IFPI Greece) - Taiwan (G-Music) - Czech Republic (IFPI CR) + Slovakia, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. And they even use the latest IFPI-statistics for the charts from countries without sales stats. If all the figures adding make 1,760M. It can't be 2,3M because she didn't sold 540,000 outside those countries for sure. How can it be false by doing additions ? Even official charts company trust Mediatraffic. They even put their sales in their reports. What is impressive is that you give a number and don't reflect from where it comes from and how she can sold those figures with 690k sold in the US, 190k in the UK, 190k in Japan, 60k sold in France and less than 100k in Germany (at least 60k), whiches are the biggest music markets in the world. It's impossible... So, please, stop saying incoherent infos. :( 2,3M are obviously shipped and IFPI used this number because it has been sold to retailers. And Interscope use the shipped number for years. Charts experts will say to you that it's shipments, trust me. and Here are ARTPOP sales that we know : US : 688k [Gold] U K : ~193k [Gold] Japan : ~190k [Platinum (Shipments over 250,000)] Canada : ~83k [Platinum] Mexico : 60k [Platinum] France : ~63k [Platinum (Shipments over 100,000)] Brazil : 64k [Platinum] Italy : 25k [Gold] Argentina : 20k [Gold] Spain : 20k [Gold] Sweden : 20k [Gold] Switzerland : 15k [Gold] Austria : 10k [Gold] Finland : 10k [Gold] Poland : 10k [Gold] Colombia : 5k [Gold] South Korea : ~4k Hungary : 1k [Gold] TOTAL : ~1,5M copies It's impossible for her to sell 800k outside of that markets, because the biggest markets are counted in the 1,5M. I don't know why people don't understand... It's obviously clear. So, 1,8M is realistic comparing to those 2,3M shipped. It's exactely the same problem as France. SNEP announced a platinium certification for ARTPOP (100,000 copies) without saying that it's shipments, while Gaga sold 63k real copies there, because we know the sales for each week. Hope you understand... A REAL MESS
