Kinda like how iTunes US updates with new music on Tuesday, Japan gets their new music on Wednesdays (which are, for the most part, Tuesdays for those of us in the West). Occasionally big stars like Gaga or Bieber will do it differently to get all the attention, but Tuesday is like THE DAY for new music in the states. It has something to do with the charts, I think. As a result, iTunes gets a huge amount of new music every Tuesday, whereas on other days maybe there will be one or two new things.
