VforVendetta 2,024
... Compare Venus to Bad Romance, Alejandro, Pokerface, and Scheiße. The productions are def more crisp, clean, fuller, higher quality than the solo production of Gaga's Venus. He definitely knows what hes doing as a producer and when you put him with Gaga they make epic songsI can't see where us the low quality or a a single noisy part on Venus. The song is crystal clear even if its extremely diverse and complicated. RedOne has also produced Judas, Scheisse and Hair and they are definitely more noisy than Venus. Bad Romance has also a great very similar style of production.
Interludicrous 15
I'd like to think so, but I doubt it.When you listen to the instrumentals of songs like Pokerface, Bad Romance, Alejandro or Scheiße, they form one cohesive piece of music without any vocals. When you listen to the instrumental of Venus, you'll notice that it doesn't flow as well as it does with the vocals. The harmonies in Venus make the song, while the production is very basic. Songs like Poker Face and Scheiße are the other way around - basic vocals with flowing and relatively complex productions. Bad Romance, on the other hand, is a perfect combination of both.Gaga was very smart with how she wrote Venus. Yes, it's the first song she produced by herself, but she wrote it in a way where the flow of the song depended on the musicality of the vocals rather than the production. BlackFame 0
Well as some of you wrote. Gaga has became more involved in the making of the produktions. And Venus is AMAZING! for being her first on produced song she did a really good! Why Redone is not so big part of ARTPOP. Is maybe beacuse they have ''lost'' the magic together right know. Or Gaga want to work with other producers more. And thats is not a bad thing. In her case its a good thing. I don't think Gaga has yet made her biggest song or album. I think the best is to come. With Redone or Without him.
VforVendetta 2,024
I can't believe all the RedOne hate, especially since (yes, with Gaga) he made some of her greatest songs. He translated her vision and ideas to life. Don't discredit him. His productions are generally amazing. His ideas aren't always solid, but Gaga's production was messy, but her ideas were great. I think it's entirely 50/50.His productions are NOT amazing outside from Gaga, except from On The Floor and the critics and experts agree. He has been accused a million times for recycling his old beats. He is more like ReDone. Noone disrespectd him. I said in the OP that he gave Gaga space to do her vision. He just has proved a million times that he is not the genious behind all these Gaga masterpieces. He can't live up to these expectations or even approach them. In my opinion what RedOne contributed to these songs is his experience in producing, something Gaga lacked. She is the mind behind all these. Its obvious for me, you can see her personality in these songs more than anywere else.
Maleficent 6
I think that's what a really good producer does. He takes her ideas and makes music that is sounds 100% Gaga. They compliment each others talent and bring out the best in each other.

Its obvious for me, you can see her personality in these songs more than anywere else. You must not be very familiar with much of his discography aside from the "big hits" which like 90% of music are generic. His work with Kat DeLuna, New Kids on the Block, Space Cowboy, Mohombi, Fipsyde, and Havana Brown all have a great production value and a sound tailored to each group or artist. Certainly he has also done some basic songs, but to credit most of his work's value to Gaga is just ignorant. Even his songs for Nicki Minaj were well made and damn catchy. Just because you particularly may not like a genre or certain artists doesn't mean Redone isn't a talented producer. Gaga would not be where she is without his work on producing her vision. She cannot bring it to life successfully by herself. Bad Romance would have been a muddled mess. If he is given a clear vision of what an artist wants, he can indeed pull it off well. Even if he is producing something boring and typical, the production on the music is top notch. Critics and experts also generally agree that ARTPOP was not very good, so your point about that is? TheFame Monster 8,941
It's funny everyone says they don't like RedOne, but he help create Gaga's masterpieces. No other producers that worked with her created any masterpiece that smashed like Bad Romance, or Poker Face. They work together, it's not all Gaga. She has said that she doesn't know how to do it all herself and that's why Madeon guided her with Venus.

Tommymonster44 0
Are Fernando and DJWS great producers outside of Gaga? I'm just wondering cause I haven't heard any of their stuff I know that DJWS is great in his genre without gaga. In fact, he already had a completely established musical career before gaga found him for born this way.
judaslover 0
Inb4 RedOne takes his face mask off, and it is actually Gaga, lol. Just like in Machete Kills movie, that guy is actually Gaga inside, lmao.
GagaDragon 10
I was just thinking about this exact same thing this morning lmao what a coincidence. I think Gaga is able to get the best out of the producers and somehow makes them up their game. Her input can turn a good song into a great song. Optimus 298
No. Without RedOne Gaga is lost. Gaga's last biggest hit WW was Alejandro. RedOne last biggest hit was Starships.
