VALDRIXGaga 0 Posted December 9, 2012 Share Posted December 9, 2012 I had a thought the other day when i was watching the telephone video, Maybe La Chameleon (Gaga's character in Machete Kills) is the same character in the Telephone Video as they have the same hair and there both in a south america desert location, maybe in Machete Kills she is hiding from the government or something..and maybe a track from ARTPOP will feature in Machete Kills that will be the Telephone Continuation. Rollercoaster 2 Posted December 9, 2012 Share Posted December 9, 2012 I think a good bit of promo would be to suddenly drop the lead single on iTunes with a tweet "surprise, little monsters" around the beginning of January. Release the video 2 weeks later after teasing it with screenshots like Alejandro and telephone. In mid February, put out 15 second snippets of some tracks on ARTPOP. This happens during the Grammy show. Mid March, Gaga should put out a YouTube video designed as promo for single 2. Like the Scheiße snippets. Late March, Gaga releases single 2 and starts a 24 hour countdown to the video release. The week after single 2, Gaga puts out a video compilation which includes 15 different songs. It lasts 3 minutes. The end of the video shows a mid April release date. Album is released 3 weeks after single 2. Single 1 isn't important. If people get a new gaga track its slaying the chart. Should be a party anthem that people will appreciate though. Maybe drop in some dance moves to the lyrics like bloody Mary. Single 2 is very important. Needs telephone bpm and feeling of "omg I need to dance so much!". It will be the determining single for album success. 2 singles = 2 huge hits. No promo single releases because that's silly. i wasn't saying that, just that we will get the single after the tour, so in March and the album in June . I think we're gonna have to wait that long :eek: oh God help me Jeff has already confirmed that the US tour will have new music. I doubt she'd miss the opportunity to test perform. That hair and everything (The one with the black hair is amazing tho) The Born This Way cover is cool but I think there would have been better pictures! She always takes risk. And if an artist wants to be remembered, they have to be brave and take risks, its happened with all the legends. I said before that Im not a big fan of the title Burqa, but you know what, if Gaga wants it as a single or whatever, I will be standing beside her and buying in on itunes to support her. I just want this to be her perfect album just the top and nothing else...tired of people calling her FLOP, also tired of all this gay stuff that she use in her every 2nd word, don't get me wrong I'm not against the gays...but Gaga should focus on something different that the gays cause she has other fans than the gays. At first was ok, she was trying to get more people on her side, but it's getting f ucking annoying even for some of her gay fans, I don't want everytime I say I like Gaga to be defined as gay. The gays are a HUGE part of her fan base and alot of her connection with fans is the outcast factor. Yes she refers gays alot but she isnt specifically addressing them all the time and her new favorite topic seems to be weed and princesses and as a non smoker or princess it doesnt bother me at all. I just i think everyone just wants masive success and impact from ARTPOP. Its kinda silly to point out single 3u from here and 1i from there and do this from that and that from this. Every "mistake" gaga has made since her career started has been put into account when planning out ARTPOP. The music will be more comnercially friendly and successful and the promo wont make you wanna rip your ears off like every time call me maybe comes on the radio. I trust her and interscope more with this album because they know what works and the formula for gagas on going success depends on careful planning. How '"EPIC" or ground breaking ARTPOP is will all be decided in the music and the quality. If its good then things should be great because they will know how to approach its promotion.
