Stache has a special place in my heart. Its story started back in October 2012, at the very beginning of the ARTPOP era, when Gaga posted a #soundpuzzle on littlemonsters: her vocals and Zedd’s “Stache”, left for us to put together. I’ve loved this song since then, and as part of the ARTPOP / ARTPOP Act II story it felt like the perfect track to start with. This mix was built completely from scratch, piece by piece, over many hours. Gaga’s vocal stays right in front of you, close and clear, while Zedd’s production opens up all around you: the beat surrounds you, and the brightest synths glide along the walls and circle over your head. I just wanted to share the result with you, and I’d really love to hear what you think, especially what you liked or what you’d do differently. Comments and follows mean a lot to me and keep me motivated to keep going. I’m planning four more tracks from different eras.
