People against the idea will make reference to Judas but the reality is that it will do well unless she puts out a song named "God is a douche bag". I LOVE the fact that I have NO idea what's coming, BUT still knowing that I will LOVE it. p.s. I hate people that capitalize random words, but I cannot hide my excitement . I do NOT care how lame it may seem (even though I am 23). Singles that are released before the album release are those that have the potential to chart high, why? cuz fans and non-fans buy them, while singles that are released after, have a small chance to chart high cuz almost all the fans already know the song and they got it on an album, they're not gonna re-buy the single. This is what happens with me and I'm sure I'm not the only one. The era starts wihen the first single or promotional single drops, not when the album is released ! The lead single and, in some cases, the second single practically define the era. They are what radios play the most, they are what are most anticipated because they're pre-album. They build the momentum. Gaga and Interscope would be prudent to put go full force with the lead and second. ARTPOP is basically rebuilding momentum as though we're right back at Just Dance. And please... none of this Burqa business. Gaga of all people should know that even if the message of a song with such a controversial title is a good one, people will be consumed by the negativity of a white, catholic woman saying ANYTHING of another religion. AHEM LIKE PEOPLE Do you really prefer sales/sucess rather than ART? I'm not saying that she should release BURQA as single but It must be on ARTPOP (Well, If it's really good It should be a single) And If we have two singles before album It would delay the album too much. Lead single is going to be a smash hit success#1 (hopefully) as BTW was. That would mean we should let its era last at least 3 months/2 and a half. Considering she's releasing it in February->ARTPOP coming in mid-April. There is no time for second single! Well, let's let her do whatever she wants, we're reaching too much Me too!
