RAMROD 104,573
Yea, control by using s-x appeal. And nothing wring with that. Tom Jones can use it as a man.
SexXDreams 184
Nicki gets called a slut for saying she really enjoys di*ks and that she's proud of her big ass, but when a man says the same thing about women and how he has a big penis he is praised and admired. The hypocrisy is too much.
Nein 508
Baby Got Back is a man talking about his conquests with women who have thick asses - he's essentially objectifying women. Nicki sampled it in Anaconda to subvert the message and objectify men the way every man in hip hop seems to do to women (yet nobody's talking about that??) Feminism is about women being able to express their s-xuality the way men are allowed to, so your point is invalid. :tea:
monsterhooker 3
Y'all are saying all this "Nicki Minaj is just doing **** to get attention. But it's different with Lady Gaga, her intention is valid." WTF y'all What makes Nicki different from Gaga? Someone answer please. Mte, it's the same thing as Gaga with the meat dress. DrewStevens 5,249
Sure and Fancy is about women showing men they can still be classy and sophisticated getting drunk in bars and destroying hotels. Please Nicki... Anaconda is anything but feminist, actually it affects women in a negative way. And it's not because she is being s-xual, it's because the 'skinny b---hes' line. She reinforced the idea that women should be s-xual FOR MEN, not for themselves.
RabbitHeart 793
It is. Nicki took a song originally about straight men s-xualizing women's bodies and turned it around, creating a song about women owning their s-xuality whose s-xual desires aren't controlled by men. The entire song is about her owning her s-xuality and expressing it in a way that benefits her. The video sets itself up to seem as though it's playing under the tropes of a typical rap video, where women are shown to be props for the s-xual pleasure of men, then throws it right back at you. She tosses away phalic objects in the kitchen scene to show that her s-xuality is entirely up to her. At the end, the lap dance and her leaving without letting Drake touch her shows that she is in complete control of her body and she decides who is allowed to touch it. It's a complete role reversal from the usual male rapper spouting some nonsense about having a big dick.and bragging about how good they are in bed. Honestly, if you think Partition and Blow by Bey are empowering and not Anaconda or everything about Nicki, you should check yourself.

heavymlover 340
lol gurl bye, you know it's not about that. EDIT: Nobody's saying that it's ok for Gaga to do the same thing but not for Nicki. We all know that Gaga comes up with deep meanings to excuse some of her ideas, and we are all accepting that. No need to bring it up to defend Nicki.
