yeah the solution is ban everybody, gaga cut out all those fans and then find another reason to be pissed at fans and cut even more and then divide them again into superfans and just fans and then you ll be left with just very few.newsflash those ppl made gaga who she is by buying her albums,music videos,etc. alienate them and you ll get lower and lower budgets from labels.

This is not a bash thread just to clarify (the fact that I even have to clarify is silly but w.e)

There are two reasons I say she's being immature:

1) She focuses solely on the hateful comments directed towards her and ignores the rational ones. Gaga gets a lot of criticism. Yes, a lot of it is immature hate, like the comment about Emma that was circulating. But a lot of it is really well written, calm, constructive criticism. Yet she ignores these useful comments and focuses on the immature ones and acts like the internet is dooming humanity just cause a few immature kids write hate comments on twitter.

WAKE UP CALL: The world is filled with dumb, immature kids, this has always been true before the internet and it will always be true. The internet and social media are incredible tools and Gaga's taken an incredibly immature viewpoint of it. It's as though she's regressed mentally, because she used to be very smart and forward thinking but now she talks like a grandmother who doesn't understand the modern world.

2) She surrounds herself with immature people. I understand Emma is very kind, but if you watch Radio ARTPOP it's easy to see she's not very mature, because her along with the other fans on there have the same immature viewpoints that I just described above. They're the epitome of yes-men, and they're very misguided in their thinking, but Gaga chooses to surround herself with those types of fans.

As you can see, no hate in this thread, no immature bashing, this is all perfectly reasonable criticism.

If there's anyone out of touch here, it's definitely not Gaga going by the bolded part. One has to wonder if you even read this forum :smh:

A mega pop star should NEVER come to these forums. People sound off, they project, critique - the creator must never be present.

 

In my opinion, there is an app now, and Ms G should deliver high quality B-side content to her fans directly - that is the way a pop star communicates: with valuable creative content.

 

I can understand her disillusionment, but what I think is that all of YOU (I am a casual fan, so I don't count myself) warts and all -

this fanbase are who MADE her the star she is now. You are the REASON she exists in her current incarnation and the reason for her success.

 

I have lurked on and off for a while and although I can see that even those of you who are mostly negative are still real fans.

 

Because for some of you it is almost an obsession, you take her highs and lows to heart and sound off about them in your own ways. This forum is like a teenage girl's diary in many ways - it's often neurotic and certainly not something that should be read by the 'parent', so to speak.

 

But that doesn't invalidate your love and need for her - and this forum's value, the value of the 'stans', the fans, who who buy the music, watch the videos over and over and wait with bated breath for the star's next move.

 

And just like the teenager's diary, it should not be read by the parent or anyone else and judged on its maturity, because that's not what it's all about.

 

I hope Lady G realizes that if she set herself up to be an archetype and a goddess of a sort - a Mother - there has to be a sense of humor about these things, an ability to laugh at her 'kids', appreciate them for who they are, gently admonish them when necessary, but also not let their behavior affect her adult paradigm.

 

Finally, when you're a pop star, you set yourself up to be a--lyzed, critiqued, adored, hated and compared. That is just the name of the game. My hope is that in her newfound sobriety she will find the strength and the center she needs to be above all those things and rule as I am positive she can.

Wow nicely said. I read it all. A mega popstar should never lurk fan forums or read too much about herself on the web (twitter, littlemonsters.com, googling articles), she should never have done that stuff in the first place. I mean there's a reason Madonna, Britney, Beyoncé, Katy etc pretty much stay AWAY from the web, or at least not lurk their forums or read about themselves, or talk directly to their fans. I believe Gaga at one point was the same but became too curious and unfortunately opened pandora's box so to speak. Hopefully she stops and completely disconnects from the internet fanbase for her sake

it was not directed to you:) im just mad aswell with this situation.gaga and her entourage need to calm down a bit and stop dividing fans, blantantly stating that she wont be following one of her biggest fansites and constatly blaming the fans.i have never criticized her in a rude manner but this whole situation gave me a huge temptation:)

I saw this coming, and it's for the best tbh.

Reading and following random fans opinions is going to get her nowhere. I know everyone delusionally thinks they can manage their faves career but in reality we could never.

I sensed a change during BTW when she started addressing the fans in her music, and while it was nice in sentiment it broke down the fourth wall. That was a bit unnerving. Anyway, I hope she gives up on reading the Internet forums and twitter altogether, it really does nothing for creativity. It's like when those show runners for tv shows start listening too much to what the fans want: you get a blah, pandering mess.

We think we want a certain thing, but sometimes it just not the right choice. We won't know what we want until we get it.

I think it's for the best. She shouldn't read fansites/tabloids period. It's like the whole avoiding the temptation to google yourself kinda thing. This website is for US. It's not here to stroke her ego and make her feel better. If we don't like something about Gaga, then we should be able to post it without fear of her and Tara creeping a thread and seeing it.

 

And besides, I see more people complaining about complaining then people actually complaining.

Emma and Gaga are right. I really don't know why people have meltdowns over sales or over what Gaga does/does not. Complaining about the DWUW video still not coming out is normal, but dragging Gaga for this is not. When I listen to ARTPOP, I only think about how happy it makes me, not about future singles or sales. What do I care ? I don't know anything about this. I only care about Gaga and her music.

People need to grow up and stop worrying about stupid petty sh*t like charts. Who even cares if she rises or falls --- NO ONE can be Number 1 all the time --- and she has enough legendary numbers behind her to seriously make her a permanent legend like Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.
