“A source told the Daily Mail on Tuesday that Swift’s team instructed crew members to “dispose” of the extravagant decorations to ensure there weren’t “any traces” left behind.

“They didn’t want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it, so they just burned it all,” the insider claimed to the outlet.”

These could've been donated without people knowing where it came from, but yeah just burn them I guess :fail:

I wonder what excuses swifties will come up with for this

Speaking as someone who works in this field (film and theater), these pieces were likely not really useful for theatrical repurposing. We typically avoid highly custom pieces, especially ones that have any sort of initials or text on them (T&T were all over the decorations). I’m not saying they offered them but I am saying the likelihood of them being accepted by any theater, professional or non, is slim to none because of their custom nature.

I mean all of the fake plants, all of the flooring, all of the background, if it says "TT" then put some air dry clay on top and customize it... burning it was among the worst options to me! I understand burning is a popular method among brands so why not for this, but it could have been utilized!
