did u like it? :teehee:

Here's the thing - I've tried this show two or three times in the past and just couldn't get into it for some reason. I think I was put off by how many characters there were or the pace of the first couple of episodes, which were fairly slow and mainly just set up the GoT universe, as well as the nudity which is 90% irrelevant and cheap and adds nothing to the show or story.

So I ended up buying season 1 on iTunes this week to give it another chance since I had a gift card I didn't intend on spending anytime soon, and something happened. I got through episode one, and I actually really liked it this time around. And then I had to keep watching because I found myself interested in more and more of the characters. I have a thing for strong female characters, so Arya and Daenerys >>>>>>>>>>>> And then of course the further you get into the series the more drama and tension begins to build and it just completely sucks you in.

I still feel the same way about the nudity though. I'm no prude, but if there's going to be nudity imo it needs to serve the story and I don't think it does in this case. I DID like the show though!

Hodor? Nodor.

It seems Game of Thrones' Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and his beloved duo-syllabled protector Hodor (Kristian Nairn) will not be appearing in the show's fifth season.

Nairn mentioned his and Wright's season 5 hiatus in a recent interview with the Australian Broadcasting Commission.

"We have a season off and we have a year's hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books," Nairn said.

By the end of the fourth season of the HBO show, Bran and Hodor have traveled north of The Wall to meet the Three-Eyed Raven.

HBO has not yet confirmed the actors' hiatus to Mashable.

Nairn says he will spend his time off from Hodoring by DJing and hosting his "Rave of Thrones" parties. (We suspect Bran will use that free time privately recovering from puberty.)

And let's all pray to the Seven Gods that George R.R. Martin takes no hiatuses from furiously writing  lest the sixth season of the show be just wide angle shots of the GoT sets.
