And I don't understand why people pay so much money to go see artists who don't even seem to respect them (to me, singing live means that you respect your fans). I know I keep saying this, but a lot of people criticize Katy Perry while SHE sings live... At least she's showing respect to us, even if her vocals are not always on point.My thoughts exactly! Lascivious 0 Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 I'm a HUGE Britney fan and I don't care if she NEVER sings, I don't even think she has a good voice, her technique is horrible and it sounds awful. But in the studio she has a lot of sass and a certain tone that is great for pop music. HOWEVER, I just wish she would dance again, not like in her prime, but at least you know, like something solid. And don't let herself go so much. She's only like what? 32? 33? She's still so young and she lets her face age so much. This is 15 seconds in an 1.5+ hour show, most of a which has very little choreo. She does pretty good on Work Bitch, Gimme More, and Break the Ice but those are the only three numbers worth mentioning when talking about dancing. I don't count this as a win for the fandom. I'm not disputing that, but, I wouldn't brand Britney solely as a "singer". She's an entertainer at heart. She could sing well back in the day (when she did sing live) - and she either lost her voice through d--g use or isn't comfortable with her voice anymore. That being said, from your signature I can see you're a Beyoncé stan. How hypocritical of you to bash Britney when she lip syncs too. The difference is, Beyoncé makes it look convincing with her pre-recorded vocals. Her "dancing" is not up to much either. A lot of hip shaking and booty popping is the extent of it.
