When a song spends 20 weeks on the chart and drops below #50 it is out of the chart. At this point we're just making up stuff we want and say 'album will sell much better!' as a reason Gaga needs to release the DWUW video for the album to sell well! She needs to perform at x for the album to sell! She needs song y sent to radio for the album to sell well! Interscope needs to do z for the album to sell well! Of course, they'll help. But don't start using 'album will sell much better!' for everything, because it might not and that would make everybody here meltdown, say the era is over, that we're ready for the next single, and that she should do (insert here) for the album to sell well. I stated just facts. Songs on the radio and videos help album sales. Look at Bangerz .. It was selling worse than ARTPOP until she released the video for Adore you and the song started getting bigger updates on radio ... Especially during this time of the year It's really Important to have a song on the radio (a hit) and a great video in order to have good sales ... Katy Perry's sales are also bad .. Just because she is doing better than Gags doesn't mean anything ... you'll see the difference when she performs at the Grammys and releases the video for DH ... same goes for Gaga .. actually not, Gaga is way worse because she hasn't had a video since Applause (August) + she reached 90M AI and now the song is falling again ..
