Yes, quality is much better than cd lossless. But you can notice the difference only if you use hi end acoustic.

It is very difficult (near impossible) for the human ear to discern between CD lossless and vinyl lossless. Most headphone only range from 2 - 20kHz frequency response anyway. You won't be able to tell the difference between a CD and vinyl unless you have professional listening equipment. A CD rip is a better choice in terms of size and quality if you're not a professional. Vinyl will have small crackles and pops versus a CD which will have none. Hope this was helpful.
