This b---h. Like Gaga said, EVERYBODY in the entertainment industry does this and you'll see more celebrities getting sued if Gaga loses this.I

I can totally see that being the result if she doesnt win this.

I'm pretty certain this is just the same deposition that was made and published last year . . . the translation just makes it seem like a new quote.

if these assistants are all not getting paid for massive overtime as Gaga pretty much admitted, Gaga should lose and the industry should change. That's not okay.

But most Americans don't work 24/7 - a $75,000 salary for someone who's at someone's beck-and-call literally 24/7 averages out to a little more than $8 an hour. Minimum wage is $7.25.

I'm not REMOTELY on Jennifer's side, just sayin'. It's different.

Personal assistants don't work 24/7 either, they just don't work 9-5.

Regardless of how you feel about Ms. O'Neill, it's unacceptable to undercompensate your workers. Fair compensation, livable wages, and fair treatment of employees are moral imperatives. For someone who aligns herself with progressive causes, you would think that Gaga would embrace those concepts.

they are paid on a salary... salaried employees are never paid overtime.  Ask any white collar worker.

Just because that's a reality for most white-collared workers doesn't mean it's acceptable. That's why we have organized labor to demand fairer compensation and treatment...but I digress. Gaga's networth is staggering. The fact that Ms. O'Neill has to demand fairer pay doesn't make Ms. O'Neill petty...rather the opposite.

It's perfectly possible that 75k is considered standard for a celebrity personal assistant.  Why should she get more than the going rate that others in the same field get?  How much Gaga makes is immaterial.  Without Gaga the personal assistant job doesn't exist at all.
