Klou 2,414
She just needs to push it out by mid October to avoid it. Unfortunately that puts her head to head with Katy again I remember we were all glad she wasn't releasing late in 2012 due to "too much competition" I'd much have preferred that compeition to what we're dealing with now. Ozzy8923 9
Britney was bad enough during FF that it could of ended her career [or what was left of it]. Surprised she rebounded after the lead single. We'll see how her album sales fare now, though. Clearly her digital power has waned, but lack of singles success doesn't exactly equate to lack of album success [ie: Run The World flopping to the pits of hell and the GP saying NO MA'AM but the album opening with over 300K and selling 1.5M in the US/3M WW]. Arturo 40,746
Last era we only had 2 solid hits WW; BTW and TEOG and 3 in the U.S; BTW, TEOG and Y&I. If we could just get 4 solid top 10's, even if they're not #1, then we're good.
Paper Gangsta 6,693
Applause performances until now are nothing compare to some performances from BTW era. Era just started
craig 680
Why people would want a Femme fatale era? Britney had 3 hits not 4, and I don't believe the 1st or 3rd sold 2 million. The 1st was a fan driven #1 that petered out quick, the 2nd was sold, the third was radio driven more than sales driven.
Marco 731
Era just started And when the BTW era started it started at the Grammys, which is by far one of her best performances ever.
Arturo 40,746
I'm gonna need Stay the Night to smash on radio like Clarity so radio won't have a prob playing Gaga+Zedd like G.U.Y, Temple, Donatella....or Aura
Paper Gangsta 6,693
You're all judging it based on it's commercial success, which okay it didn't do amazing but the album was still one of her best imo. im not lol I just didn't like btw era
craig 680
Getting 4 sold hits (2m sales + top 10) is less common than getting #1s. It would keep the album selling for a year. Give fans something to be happy about. And 4 decent hits would sell more albums, cause you know with Gaga they'd sound different and appeal to different people. Bt1 5,213
Britney didn't even get the numbers Craig was talking about, so idk what you're saying You are right. Thats why I said similar succes. Still, craig descriptions of that 2 smash singles doesnt match Applause. So I guess its a moderate hit also for craig, so I still choose those 2 smashes and those 2 moderate hits ( that may go top 10 like Applause or not). Neither Britney promoted how Gaga will promote.
